Slightly stalker like thing I noticed: What is up with the green like bracelet thing he's wearing on his left arm? Odd.

ah bari, you also noticed that? It's not stalker, everyone can see that kind of bracelet in close up. I wonder what is that exactly?

I was wondering if it's just something like a key chain? Or just some weird bracelet since Leo sometimes wears odd-ish bracelets. Heehee.

^Maybe it was a band that they wear to know you went through the entrance of the place. Sometimes they make people wear bright braceletes like that so they know their part of the party

Some more reviews. Once again, the reviews on the film is halfway, with some praising it, and some calling it "dry". But I like that they all say leos a shoein for the Oscar

Despite the slightly differing reactions, it seems that something close to a consensus is emerging, at least in terms of the film’s Oscar chances—Best Picture is a stretch, DiCaprio’s likely to be nominated for Best Actor, Armie Hammer could sneak in for Supporting, Naomi Watts and Judi Dench (as Hoover’s secretary and mother) can pretty much be counted out, and the film’s a strong front-runner for the Make Up award. “J. Edgar” hits theaters next Wednesday, November 9th, and we’ll have our own review soon

I hit the red carpet last night for the AFI FEST 2011 Opening Night Gala Presentation of ”J. Edgar” and fulfilled one of my high school girl fantasies ….. I interviewed and TOUCHED Leonardo DiCaprio!

Being an Entertainment Reporter and Red Carpet Host, I obviously interview A LOT of celebs. But anyone who grew up with me in South Carolina and is aware of my “Titanic” obsession knows that this was a BIG deal! I literally went to see that movie in the theater way too many times to count and plastered my bedroom walls with Leo posters. I would also quote the movie in conversation whenever possible and even begged Blockbuster for a life-sized cardboard standup of Leo and Kate “flying”!

I’m happy to report that all these year later Leo was everything I dreamed he would be – gorgeous, absolutely eloquent, thoughtful, intelligent, charismatic... wait, did I mention dreamy?

And Leo wasn’t the only “man candy” on the red carpet last night – I also spoke to Armie Hammer, Josh Lucas, Ed Westwick and more!

So the consensus is that even though the film is getting mixed reviews.... Leo seems to be getting all praise for his performance so far

EXCLUSIVE: Now that New Regency closed a deal to fully fund the Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu-directed The Revenant, the Biutiful helmer has set his sights on Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn to play the two leads in the screen adaptation of the Michael Punke novel. I’m told they’ve met with Inarritu, but that if this cast materializes it would mean starting next fall. DiCaprio is being courted to play 1820s frontiersman Hugh Glass, who hires on to a fur trapping expedition and is so badly mauled by a bear that he’s unable to be transported back from the wilderness. He hires two men to stay behind. Expecting him to die, they rob and abandon him instead, leaving him helpless. When he recovers, he is hellbent on revenge. Inarritu wants Penn to play one of the men who left him for dead. 20th Century Fox will distribute. DiCaprio next stars in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, and Penn is shooting Gangster Squad.
