Good answer! Leo would approve I'm sure. I don't recall him ever acknowledging a relationship to a reporter. He will be "single" until he's married, I think ~ and he won't talk about that either.

The onslaught of attention makes it feel like they've been together forever, but it's still early days. That L&S piece said he's not looking for a serious relationship so soon after his breakup. Makes sense to me!

I know Blake always likes to deny relationship(She doesn't like to talk about her private life especially the relationship with somebody in public), she ever denied the romance with Penn . She insisted they were only friends in 2007 , but they were caught kissing in Mexico’s Mayan Riviera after the denial.

So I think it‘s not a big deal .

Only time can tell us whether it is a serious relationship or not .

^so true! Two big celebs together in a relationship is bound to keep the tabloids feeding for more stuff to gossip about. I was actually surprised the stuff about Blake and Leo in Carmel didn't get more exposure. Yeah Lainey mentioned it but that was about it But yeah they'll always find something to talk about so it doesn't really matter.

I just like the pics because pics can speak louder than words that may not have any truth to them.

The gossip magazines want all the details of the couple exclusively. I think we will see the getaway to Carmel on Wednesday (when the magazines are published).

I actually hope this is the case because even though it's hard to trust tabloids I still wonder what more info they could possibly dig up lol. Thanks for pointing out that possibilty Palmina!!

Looking at how he wrote the tweets I think for sure he knows its not Bar in the pics... it looks like he is trying to get her to look at the pics of leo and Blake which is pretty mean. Anyways the point is... from that he loses some legitimacy in my eyes.

Eastwood/DiCaprio 'J. Edgar' Likened To an American King Lear

It's only been about a month since Clint Eastwood wrapped production on "J. Edgar" starring Leonardo DiCaprio as controversial FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover — and the Oscar buzz is already intensifying. No wonder.

Eric Matheny, who plays Hoover's "Dr. Feelgood" medico in the feature, likens it to an American King Lear "in a lot of ways. Hoover really did have a sense of keeping the kingdom together at all costs — while at the same time being driven mad by his own secrets and lies."

Says Matheny, "There was one scene with Naomi (Watts) in Hoover's office that was very much like (Lear). If this gets any kind of Academy nod, well, I'm sure it is a scene that people will be looking at. When I saw it, I thought, 'I'm so glad I'm here for this.' We're talking about one of the greatest actors of our generation,'" he says of DiCaprio, whose performance spans decades. He spent six hours in makeup daily for the scenes of Hoover as an elderly man. He has a grip on Hoover — the voice, the stance — he was completely immersed in the character."

Already, there has been much talk of "J. Edgar" not holding back when it comes to the notorious secret-keeper's rumored homosexual proclivities and cross-dressing. But Matheny puts it this way:

Oscar-winning writer Dustin Lance Black, he says, "wove in the story of a conflicted man. He was conflicted because of his upbringing and the societal mores of the time, coupled with his own personal demons and his idea of secrecy, and his fear of being found out — and all these things that were mirrored in his personal life. It's a fascinating tale and sort of historical biopic that shows how Hoover formed his ideas, his thoughts on patriotism, his country, right and wrong — conflicted by his own desires. By the end of the film, the conflicts had festered into a man who was sort of broken and stabbing out in all directions."

Of his own role, he notes, "Dustin's research shows there was a doctor and/or a nurse coming to his office. Well, he doesn't need someone to come to his office to give him a glass of water and a pill — they're coming to do something. It was a pretty common practice among the wealthy and powerful of the time to get influenced by these doctors: 'You've got a problem? Let's drug it up.' They could call it vitamins, but there were probably some kind of amphetamines in there."

Eastwood lived up to his gold standard as a great filmmaker in Matheny's eyes as well. "He's light-handed, incredibly succinct, never forced. He'll let that first shot go however it goes, then he'll adjust, not from a mechanical perspective but a creative one. He gets the maximum effect with the minimum effort. It's amazing."

Wow that is awesome news! Getting me even more excited to see this movie.... if that was even possible.

Breathe easy, Blake: Leonardo DiCaprio expressed little interest in the bevy of models who surrounded his table at the opening of the Dream Downtown Hotel and its rooftop nightclub PH-D on Wednesday night. The actor and his omnipresent baseball cap held court with his dude crew at hotelier Vikram Chatwal's table near the deejay booth, where Samantha Ronson was spinning.

Though his latest flame, Blake Lively, was on the West Coast attending the premiere of her movie "Green Lantern," the couple were on the minds of her "Gossip Girl" co-star Tika Sumpter, who told us, "People won't stop asking me about Blake and Leo!"
