On a sidenote we all know that LEo is very wealthy, how many homes does he own, I know he owns one in LA, two in MAlibu. Does he have an apt in NYC? Because I know a couple years back when he was shooting the Departed in NYC (part of the movie was shot in NYC, the main part takes place in Boston) I know the studio rented him a rad place.

And of course his island in Belize but he is developing that into a resort, right?

Now I know you guys here are may I say the best source of info on Leo, so can anyone pitch in some info or correct me fi I am wrong? :)

as I know Leo has a house in LA,two house in Malibu, but if I'm not mistaken ho sold one of them few years ago,he also has a mansion in Beverly Hills, and $8 million apartment in NY

thanks everyone for all the updates!

Oscars 2012: Why Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio Are 'Due' for Recognition

Hang in long enough, and some actors' time comes due

It could finally be Leonardo DiCaprio's time. Every year, a consensus develops that at least one performer or filmmaker is "due." This year, that drumbeat could go to DiCaprio, who has a potentially plum part as J. Edgar Hoover in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar, which opens Dec. 14. He has been Oscar-nominated three times but hasn't won, and that could put him on the Academy's Most Wanted list. … Meryl Streep can't say she has never won an Oscar -- she scored a supporting actress trophy for 1979's Kramer vs. Kramer and best actress for 1982's Sophie's Choice -- but since then, she has been nominated 12 times (for a career total of 16 noms) without being called back to the stage. Based on word of her turn in The Iron Lady as steely former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher -- a promo reel was shown to buyers in Cannes -- rival studios are penciling her in as a favorite. … Veteran Christopher Plummer got one of those "he's due" pushes when he received his first Oscar nomination two years ago for The Last Station, but because he didn't win, there's sure to be a repeat of that refrain for his performance as a widower who comes out as gay late in life in Beginners.

AMEN!!!

I really hope so! He also deserves a star on Hollywood Blvd. It seems like ervyoe else has one except Leo

But a star on Hollywood Blvd is not relevant. Really the movie producers usually buy this kind of honors for the actor when they are promoting a movie (Penelope Cruz is a good example...) ...

Brad Pitt, Clooney or Leo the most important super stars right now do not have a star probably because they are not interested.

About the oscars I am sure he will be nominated.

thanks fash!

seems Hoover is great film and everyone expects a lot from it

will be glad if Leo win Oscar, but if he doesn't that's not important to me

plus star in Hollywood Blvd,he is a star, cuz he's amazing actor and not because of he is famous.everyone who even played simple role in Hollywood blockbaster are called stars, despite they don't have great talent.that's why I don't care about his star in Hollywood Blvd.hope you get what I mean

Leo better win that oscar!

I'm just so curious for Hoover

Thanks for the article fash! Leo is defiently over due for an Oscar. Maybe this year the Academy will give in and give him one already! :D

BTW that is crazy how many times Meryl Streep has been nominated for an Oscar!! So many times, and so little wins

thanks fashiondream: I hope that article is right, I wish Leo receive the most important recognition of his art, he deserves because he's so passionate about his work and always make an amazing job, I have sure J.Edgar will not be different and I hope Oscars give the award to Leo!

Sick: I know what you mean and I understand, for sure if Leo not win I won't stop being his fan, ever, and this will not change the fact that he's so talented and an a brilliant actor, but I think he deserves this because he was robbed so many times. It's his time now!

you're waiting for a train... in portuguese, hehe!

Você está esperando um trem...

Thanks, Sick! Where did you find that picture?
