Leo's road trip

Noticed that Tobey 's wife Jennifer Meyer posted pix from the Wyoming area with the guys , so Leo must be on road trip with his whole group

Anorher Leo/Wyoming sighting

“@shealilly6: Well apparently Jackson Hole is the place to be.. I just saw Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio together in the Cowboy Coffee shop.

Wonder if Leo was watching the game with his mom. :p (Dont know if she's in Wyoming with them) Would love to see their reactions. :p Oh and I'm sure Leo's dad is happy too seeing as how George DiCaprio is half German. :)

As to Leo /World Cup, I only know that Toni posted a pix from Wyoming saying she was going inside soon to watch the game, so I would imagine all of them did, and are all celebrating as I type :p

Yeah but it's not clear if his mom is there. At least I didn't see any posts from her boyfriend, but I haven't looked at Jen Meyer's instagram so I dunno if they were in that pic. :p

No, I haven't see any Instagram information /comment that mentions Leo's Irmelin & Dave being in Wyoming, but wherever they are , I bet they are jumping for joy as well :)

Looking at the pix that I posted today of Leo in Wyoming, reminded me of a pix of Leo wearing similar type hat /sunglasses in a pap pix taken when he was filming Django

LOL Leo thats not how you wear a sweatshirt but okay

I'am sure Leo, Toni and their relatives must be all very glad with the World cup result. Well, I was rooting for Germany today and I'am really very happy.

Off topic, but Germany's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is the best and soo handsome...

More Revenant news about limited release date ( another Christmas with Leo :p) , and length of filming .

So, no more problems then? It was only on Friday when yellow cards (sorry, still suffering from World Cup fever) were being thrown at Alejandro González Iñárritu's "The Revenant," which found a major financial backer pulling out, and some apparent concerns over the director's desire to shoot in sequence. But it looks like Megan Ellison's intervention has saved the day, as the movie now has a release date.

Box Office Mojo reveals the gritty movie will arrive on December 25, 2015 in limited release (and wide January 8th, 2016), so might as well start adjusting your future Oscar pool way early. To put it in perspective, this will be opening against "Mission: Impossible 5" and David O. Russell's "Joy" starring Jennifer Lawrence—now that's confidence. And why shouldn't Fox be feeling good? They've now got Ellison involved, and two major movie stars—Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy—to tell the story about a 19th century fur trapper who is mauled by a grizzly bear, left for dead and robbed, who then goes on a mission of vengeance. That said, production is going to be very long.

According to the Calgary Herald, production will be a lengthy 80 days (longer than the 76 days for Ridley Scott's "Exodus: Gods And Kings") with shooting to take place from approximately October to March in B.C. and Alberta. No word yet if Iñárritu got his wish to shoot in sequence, but we'd reckon this long haul plan means he did. And this likely means "The Revenant" won't hit Cannes, and instead will make a stop on next year's fall festival circuit instead. Get those phones working, Toronto, Telluride and Venice....

So in short: the movie is probably okay, dated and ready to roll. Couldn't ask for anything more.

^good to hear it will be shown for award season

So will the whole movie be shot in 80 days, or is the Calgary location just a portion of the shoot and they'll be filming elsewhere as well? :)

Looks like Leo and Christian Bale will be working together again as Bale is in negotiations once again to star in a role that originally Leo was mentioned considering

The Deep Blue Good-by

After spending years in development, it seems the adaptation of The Deep Blue Good-By, featuring John D. MacDonald's recurring character Travis McGee, is finally making progress. The Wolverine director James Mangold boarded the film this past spring, after directors like Paul Greengrass and Oliver Stone flirted with the project and Leonardo DiCaprio wanted to star. But now a new name might end up with the lead role as Variety reports Out of the Furnace and American Hustle star Christian Bale is in early talks to play the self-described beach bum who won his houseboat in a card game who appears in 21 books. Read on!

Bale doesn't have an official offer, but apparently the actor has agreed to star and is currently working out a deal as we speak. Mangold is officially signed to direct for Chernin Entertainment and Leonardo DiCaprio will still produce through his Appian Way banner along with Jennifer Davison-Killoran

One of the other Revenant articles read , so , I guess, the film will be totally filmed in Canada , and will be an 80 day shoot, which would be similar to Wolf :)

Sources say the film will be shot in both B.C. and Alberta, likely in the fall. No firm dates or locations have been confirmed, but sources say production officials have already opened an office in Vancouver and are looking for space in Calgary.

“It’s anticipated a shooting schedule in the October to March range,” said the source about the Alberta shoot. “Eighty days of shooting.”

Thanks Oxford. :) October-March accounts for roughly 180 days. Hence I guess it won't be a straight through shoot as there'll be a ton of days off in between... approximately 100 days. Maybe they're are just using that time frame to be on the safe side in case they need extra days to shoot. Wolf seemed to take forever, but they had Hurricane Sandy to contend with.

The one thing about the filming I do know for sure is I can't wait to see our first stills from the set :)
