oxford25
The tweeter below now claims that Leo has is now at Martha's Vineyard ; we'll have to see if we get any more Vineyard sightings As if Leo really is starting Wolf on Wed, I would think he'd be back in NY by now. For sure, I haven't seen any new Leo/Nantucket sightings since yesterday afternoon. 1mAilene Gallerani ♡@aileneegall LEONARDO DICAPRIO IS ON THE VINEYARD AND I AM TOO #gonnameetmylove dreams do come true
oxford25
Shirah Yes, the paps have done a poor job of getting any pix of Leo since he returned to NY on Tues 7/24. Fortunately we had NY tweeters provide for us some tweet pix; so we need to find some more tweeters who do twit pix

rillio
Hi all,I believe there was indeed going to be a Vanity Fair special. Didn't Annie Leibovitz travel to Australia for the shoot?
BarbieErin
thanks for the info ox, but now I'am quite confused... because august 8 is tomorrow, the other info said august 13 and the other 20 to Wolf starts the filming. I guess we have to wait and see.

Posey
Realistically, it's not the best of signs when a movie is moved from the much-coveted Christmas opening (and also awards contention probabilities) and for me, worse yet, are the differernt explanations coming out from WB about the reasons. If WB execs truly believe they want the widest audience for GG and that is the reason for the change, I don't see why it wouldn't have a wide audience at Christmas- season as opposed to the summer. I see the summer season as more for action films and blockbusters, not movies based on a Fitzgerald novel, albeit a 3-D one. I liked Romeo and Juliet quite a bit and think that movie was copied and set a trend for a number of films and I liked Moulin Rouge as well but Australia was a disaster - so for me the GG is still an unknown factor, but for right now, it's not looking so hot. katchitup
^true, a movie being pushed back is usually not a good sign, of course, plenty of movies have been pushed back, and they were fantastic, oscar, movies. So I guess we'll find out when the release comes
Pami
I also heard The Great Gatsby was postponed and I'm sure they have their reasons for it and perhaps will help more the movie if we think on the bright side. Tks for the pics and articles girls!

calibi
Baz Luhrmann's movie Moulin Rouge was suppose to open Christman 2000 and was delayed until summer 2001. What happened? Well the picture went on to grab 8 oscar nominations. Just because the picture was delayed doesn't mean it will not be good. If the film is great the nominations will come in 2014. WB's spent over 100 million dollars to make this movie so I'm sure they want to release it when they believe they will make the most money. December was already packed with too many movies (way too many IMO). I would rather have Baz make the movie he intended to make instead of rushing the film to meet a deadline.
