George Clooney mentions Leo in his reponse to Tina Fey's joke

George Clooney is planning "downright dirty" payback for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Golden Globes gag about him, already humorously swiping

at woman via his "Monuments Men" costar Madd Damon.

It tourns out Clooney,52,obtained  stationery in Damon's name and send a letter to Fey as his costar calling them out for the jokes they made.

"I send her a letter going : "Dear Tina,Listen.." Clooney said lauging. It's from Matt and it says,"Look it sounds hypocritical because I laughed about jokes  about George and Leo,but that's sort of  what people think about them...But when you call me a garbage man it just seems like low-hanging fruit.

It seems like an easy joke.I don't want an apology or anything else.I just want you to  know  that my kids now calls me the "garbage man".

This article from London Evening Standard appears to have some new comments from Leo about Kate , as well as, in regard to loss of Phillip Hoffman so it must be recent ; maybe an interview he gave in connection to upcoming BAFTAS

They made their names as the iconic lovers Jack and Rose in James Cameron’s 1997 blockbuster Titanic and according to Leonardo DiCaprio his friendship with Kate Winslet did not go down with the ship after filming.

DiCaprio said that he ‘never let go’ of his Kate Winlet’s relationship after filming ended and still regards her as one of the most real women in Hollywood.

Asked to comment on the pair’s friendship by The Daily Mail the Wolf of Wall Street star said “"I feel the same about her. It's been fantastic, honestly, having someone who is my age, and such a real woman."

He added: "Her husband's awesome, the kids are great, but I don't get to see her as much as I wish."

So close are the two that DiCaprio has even allowed Winslet and her family to stay in his house in LA while he is away.

Speaking to The Mail he also commented on the loss of Philip Seymour-Hoffman to the film industry.

He said: “I didn't know him on a personal level, but his work was just astounding. We've lost one of the greats, we really have."

The death of Hoffman as a result of a drug overdose is particularly significant when you consider the fact that DiCaprio himself played a the debauched stockbroker Jordan Belfort in his latest film, 'The Wolf of Wall Street'.

Explaining how he was able to detach himself from his "personal vanity" to immerse himself in some of the more shocking scenes, which include nudity and narcotics use he said:

"The truth is, I really did everything. It was all me. There were no doubles. Hey, man, I'm playing a modern-day Roman emperor and I'm going to play the hell out of this guy, and anything goes.

"You detach any sense of who you are form the whole process, and just get an excuse to do anything - and so I did! Trust me, there were times when I had to stop and think, 'What am I about to do in this sequence!'

"But then I'd tell myself that I'm playing a character. I'm not going to put my own personal vanity into that process. I did - and showed - whatever I had to."

Yes, in parts of the audio , like right after the Aviator clip, you wonder what they were all suddenly excited about, what were they seeing :idk: :idk:

Love these two , and it is amazing to think that Leo dreamed of one day doing a film with Scorsese, to be now sitting at an event honoring their collaboration as artists since 2000
