As to the Arnie Hammer wife story , I have two reactions :

1. By the time the reader reaches the end of the story they realize that Leo may not be after all the love'm and leave'm player that some in

the media attempt to present him as which is always a positive.

2. And if I was Arnie Hammer, I would realize that, perhaps, I should have let that little entertaining tidbit out of my Details interview, as once the press

read that then everything else I said was forgotten by the press.

My interview came to be all about Leo and not about me !

Oh my Gosh Ox, so true!!!! I was also wondering How Armie feels about some of the comments saying his wife stole the show It definately defeats the purpose of him getting his name/ views more out there.

I actually don't think his wife's comments were that big of a deal. I think most of all it makes him look like a decent guy... plus this happened when he was young and again Leo even said himself he was a Don Juan back then. So I don't see Leo getting all offended about that tidbit being released or else he wouldn't have made those Don Juan comments in the first place, if he were so secretive about that time in his life. Though I do understand that this is a specific incident that is being brought to the light but meh overall to me personally it seems a non- issue

Lainey's comments about Leo's GQ cover/pix in comparison to Justin Timberlake's Esquire cover that came out same day.

I’ve been tied up on TIFF business for days so I’ve had to catch up on all the non-TIFF I’ve missed including the new magazines, etc.

Was digging this Justin Timberlake spread in the new Esquire when I first saw it. He looks good. The article itself, about when he went to Comic-Con and dressed up as Ernie and how liberated he felt and eyeroll eyeroll eyeroll is predictably insufferable. The photos though... I do like the photos.

And then Leonardo DiCaprio came along. And took JT to school.

Leo covers the new GQ. And pretty much tells Justin to have a seat, son. After all, Leo brought Clint along with him. Clint Eastwood, of course. Who directed him in the upcoming J Edgar. I LOVE the picture of them together. I LOVE it. And I love the conversation they have, or at least the brief excerpt we get from it online. Or maybe that’s just because it makes me happy when old people curse:

If you ask Leonardo DiCaprio, he has never had any inkling that he has had any sort of success in Hollywood, or that he sits on a box-office goldmine. The actor, 36, who topped Forbes’ “Hollywood’s Highest-Earning Actors” list in 2011, and made an estimated $77M last year according to the magazine (beating out Johnny Depp for the first time), was interviewed in GQ magazine’s October issue, and has apparently revealed that despite his early movie success, he was and is, totally oblivious to his profitability.

I used to be a HARDCORE JT fan back in his NSYNC days. He's multi talented and everything but when it comes to movies he doesn't hold a candle to Leo Though he's not a bad actor i'll give him that much haha

While Leonardo DiCaprio was filming with Armie Hammer for J. Edgar, Armie's wife had some sassin' to do.

Apparently she had already met the Oscar-nominated actor during her modeling days in Tokyo.

Obviously it wasn't meant to be because we never heard of this girl, but Elizabeth Chambers remembers it all too well.

We're thinking her roomie's heart may have been a little broken, because Elizabeth actually went up to Leo on the first day of shooting and said:

That's a good way to look at it. I guess I was only looking at it as she's trying to say Leo is way above her league and that she finds Blake undesirable so she wonders how she attracted Leo. Though again when you phrase it the way you did it doesn't look so bad
