He gave Blake Lively a $35,000 sapphire-and-gold bracelet for her 24th b-day on Aug. 25, a source tells Star magazine!

Not only did Gossip Girl star receive an expensive present, but Leo, 36, flew her to Sydney, Australia where he’s currently filming The Great Gatsby so that he could spend time with her. “He gave her the bracelet as soon as she stepped off the plane,” the source reveals. “She was incredibly touched.”

And Blake may just be expecting another very pricey jewel from Leo quite soon … possibly an engagement ring. “He says, ‘I could see myself settling down and having kids with this girl,’” shares the source.

People are always digging for this kind of stories,

but I don't think it's such a big deal.

He has quite a reputation when it comes to the ladies anyways, but I agree that it was not very nice of her to bring it up in an interview.

Like others, I wouldn't say I totally believe it to be accurate, though , personally, I was surprised it took the tabloids this long to begin speculating or

claiming they knew what Leo gave Blake for her recent birthday.

The one thing I do believe is that whatever Leo gave his special lady Blake it was a very nice gift

As to the Arnie Hammer wife story , I have two reactions :

1. By the time the reader reaches the end of the story they realize that Leo may not be after all the love'm and leave'm player that some in

the media attempt to present him as which is always a positive.

2. And if I was Arnie Hammer, I would realize that, perhaps, I should have let that little entertaining tidbit out of my Details interview, as once the press

read that then everything else I said was forgotten by the press.

My interview came to be all about Leo and not about me !

Regarding your comment below. I mentioned yesterday that I thought it odd that so far the paps only got a photo of Leo in full costume. Unless the day the photo of Leo emerged in Sydney papers, the studio security figured out how they were able to take that photo of him , and they quickly took steps to make sure no other pix emerged from set.
