February 21, 200718 yr All squared in Nou Camp!!!Bellamy just scored for the Reds!god Valdes is rubbish, but I love him
February 21, 200718 yr Yeah, but Cassilas saved them in the second half. It should have been 3-4 or 3-5, had they just converted their chances better.Anyway, they are still in a world of trouble. All Bayern need now is a 1-0 victory at home. What about the Pizarro dummy that drew 2 defenders and then the shot? THat was awesome but Casillas' save was top notch (Y)
February 21, 200718 yr and so i have read about it, i dont get why they made such a fuss about it from the start, i mean, FIFA has already approved it, so what's the english FA doing? <_< another thing i dont quite get, is that i would be more than happy to just have sissoko, since he is a very good defensive midfielder like mascherano, but now, how are they gonna play? play them both? well i guess you can always do with a quality backup^^ Apparently there are rules in the Premier League forbidding the fielding of players that are owned by a 3rd party. Not only would it have been illegal to field him but there was also an investigation into West Ham, Portsmouth and Everton for fielding Tevez, Mascherano and Manuel Fernandes (on-loan from Benfica). They might've recieved points docks for playing them so there was a really big fuss for a reason We were after him because he would be cheap and Sissoko was out and we were running out of back-up in midfield. I don't know what the deal is with ownership now though but Masherano is meant to be here on a loan. I don't know what's going to happen. I guess one will have to just settle for warming the bench
February 21, 200718 yr By the way, the ref in the Barca-Liverpool match SUCKS :| How soft are the fouls? Doesn't he get tired of blowing the whistle and stopping play so much? <_<
February 21, 200718 yr By the way, the ref in the Barca-Liverpool match SUCKS :| How soft are the fouls? Doesn't he get tired of blowing the whistle and stopping play so much? <_< well, bare in mind that we are in Spain, there's always a difference between the EPL and the rest leagues in how strict the official is
February 21, 200718 yr Liverpool won 2-1!!! congratulations red_ed!^^ other scores are as follow:p Porto 1-1 Chelsea Inter Milan 2-2 Valencia Roma 0-0 Lyon

Doesn't he get tired of blowing the whistle and stopping play so much? <_< well, bare in mind that we are in Spain, there's always a difference between the EPL and the rest leagues in how strict the official is The officials were from Greece and those fouls were softer than La Liga fouls. It was just constant start-stop, no flow in the game whatsoever...though that may be a blessing in disguise
February 21, 200718 yr Liverpool won 2-1!!!congratulations red_ed!^^ other scores are as follow:p Porto 1-1 Chelsea Inter Milan 2-2 Valencia Roma 0-0 Lyon thanks, but I'm still cautious for now. I fear Barca when they're forced to come out and attack. They're playing like crap recently but if they snap, we are going down. Probably something like 6-0 I'm happy about Valencia's draw with Inter as well but Inter are in form and won at the Mestalla last time if my memory serves me correctly... *gulp* What a game congrats to Liverpool.....Shevchenko is again old one......... What a boring game (for the neutrals of course, not for me ) It should've been called Barca vs Barca because there was no Liverpool there and Shevchenko's strike was sweeeeet (Y)

All Bayern need now is a 1-0 victory at home. That's why he's in starting goal. Ahaha.. we'll see what happens... pretty sure we'll advance. Congrats Edddddy! Yes Barca lost :hell yea!:
February 21, 200718 yr Valdes is fast becoming my favourite Barca player  but if Eto'o ever plays we are down and out :| It's hard not to fear Barca
February 22, 200718 yr Barca is done for the season in Europe. There's no way they'll score two at Anfield without conceding.
February 23, 200718 yr Barca is done for the season in Europe. There's no way they'll score two at Anfield without conceding. we did lose 6-3 there recently...to Arsenal's youth team <_< I wouldn't be surprised if you put that many away if Eto'o is sharp

You've only conceded three goals all season at Anfield in the premiership. :| Barca is screwed, unless the entire team played at the peak of their abilities for that entire game.

Our B-team still consisted mainly of first team players though, unlike Arsenal who didn't field any more than a handful of first-teamers meh, it's not that impressive a record if you actually watch our games. A lot of teams kind of just miss like 3-4 sitters per game. I don't know why that is, but the point is our defence isn't as solid as that fact implies. If they played at their peak for 90 minutes the scoreline might reach double digits :| I consider Liverpool a class below all the other big teams and even though Barca didn't play well, they still carved up our defense. I think Barca can win easily if they bring their A-game but if they play like they did at Nou Camp but just improve their finishing, then they still have a good chance of progressing...just tell Valdes and the defence not to make any more mistakes I have hope that Liverpool will progress but I just don't expect Liverpool to go through And as if the first leg wasn't bad enough, we'll be playing even more defensive futbol at Anfield <_< :anger:

I think physically we've got the upper hand on Barca so extra-time might be somewhat advantageous I hope the next ref allows a bit more contact that the last game, but I also hope he can pick a dive out from a foul as well
