I don't know why everyone is on Barca's case. They've lost their top scorer and their best young player, and yet they are still on top in la liga and onto the knock-out phase of the CL. I'd like to see Chelsea lose Drogba and another regular starter and do equally well.

Because with successful clubs, success is not a wish, it is a demand. Why is everyone so angry when Real get 2nd? Because they are used to success and their supporters expect silverware. That's the way with winning clubs

I think they wanted to give him a contract extension last season, but he turned them down. Which is why I'm surprised he went to United for that ten week deal. Seems like an odd move to make.

I'm liking Gudy more and more every day. Sure, he's no Eto'o, but his workrate alone makes him instantly likeable.

I must admit they are doing well without Eto'o and Messi and without Ronnie on his best form

but their form in the league has stuttered and they are lucky to still be first and they were on the verge of elimination leading up to the match against Bremen. There was crisis-potential there
