Like we've said before.. AC plays better against teams of their level.

Why do you think that is?

Jamie: Because they have a hard time finding spaces against teams thatg defend all the itmer with 6-7 players, and their constant search for 'il bel calcio' is is more easily accomplished when you face a team that is also attacking. When both teams want to win . usually.. more spaces are left for the offensive players.

Right on, plus I don't think certain Milan players (Pirlo in particular) get them selves motivated to play the smaller teams

AJ you think Ballack will end up with Inter? :idk:

It would be the best fit for him and Inter, with Veron going back to Argentina next year

What's going on with Sol Campbell? :idk:

dunno . . . he seems to be mentally unstable :ninja:

he's apparently back at training now . . . :idk:

I dunno.. my bet is on Stankovic becoming CM.. since that's what his real role is.. and using Kily and Cesar as left wings. But Ballack for free.. would'nt be bad at all.

what's 'il bel calcio' mean?

Modern day football doesn't seem to be about attacking anymore. Thank you Mourinho and Rafa

I don't like it :cry2:

and it's not just tactics, the psychological element of playing big teams gets players motivated as well. Liverpool players performed way better on the pitch in Europe last year than they did in the EPL, and it wasn't just down to tactics either.

My cousin just got back from Italy, and she was at the Roma-Milan game

She said after the game the Romans decided to light all the Milan fans cars on fire
