October 19, 200519 yr Funny thing is, I called Pujols' homerun. With 2 outs in the top of the 9th inning, I told one of my friends that Astros better not pop the champange yet. (I was thinking of the story of Game 6 of 1986 World Series when the Red Sox played the Mets at Shea. Red Sox personnel brought champagne into the clubhouse in the bottom of the 9th inning with the Mets trailing, and when the Mets won the game they had to quickly remove it.)
October 20, 200519 yr the astros did it!!! they're going to the world series! i get to see my baby pettitte
October 21, 200519 yr Yes, it is quite shocking. I heard that his best friend is the owner of Orioles and Mazzone always wanted to retire on his team.
October 26, 200519 yr Damn, that game was LOOOOONG!!! Longest game in WS HISTORY!!! I am so tired RIGHT NOW!!! BTW, the White Sox won. They now lead the series 3-0. Get the Champagne ready.
October 27, 200519 yr Bobby Jenks got the save, and he is from MISSION HILLS!!! 818 RULES!!! :hell yea!:
October 28, 200519 yr 15 days after the World Series the 2nd season begins.... ESPN's Peter Gammons said today that the Mets could possibly trade Lastings Miledge (our top outfield prospect) and pitcher Aaron Heilman to Oakland for Barry Zito. I would pull the trigger on that trade in an instant.
November 3, 200519 yr theo epstein stepped down as the Red Sox GM *resists the childish urge to burst out into evil laughter* oh in other news though, lee mazilli is back as the yankees bench coach. i miss don zimmer
November 9, 200519 yr Bartolo Colon won the AL Cy Young award <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While he would have recieved my vote for CY Young, I don't see a big deal in his being snubbed for it. Besides, relievers already get an award.

MLB just does not market the reliever of the year award like they do with the MVP and CY Young. If sometime in the future they changed the name to the Mariano Rivera Award like you suggested, then probably people would see it to be just as important as the CY Young. he's never gonna get recognized during his career it seems. how utterly disgusting. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Everyone knows that he is one of the best closers of all-time and the best closer in postseason history.

The Rolaids Relief Man of the Year.
