I remember in the casting video last year that Ed said something about her being nervous/lack of confidence. She probably didn't perform well at the casting and have a good presence because of nerves.

1:15, both Ed and Monica comment about how nervous she is. I really don't think she impressed them at the casting last year. 

But she would have looked so good on that runway. And she would have definitely been better than some that were there.

She's obviously got what it takes to walk that runway, and to me there was no reason for her not to be there last year.

If she's missing again this year, it will be ridiculous really...
