Do you ever go back and just listen to the old pop music from the late 90's?

Like the backstreet boys and the spice girls? Seriously it's awesome, really much better than music today no matter what anyone says. I'd rather have good overly produced, "sugar-coated" music than real crappy "down to earth" music. Like seriously who cares if it's a good song. I don't know how many times I've listen to "I want it that way" in the past few weeks, but definitely a lot.

I know what you mean. I do the same with music of the early 2000s. Like, in 2001 or 2002, even Hip Hop music wasn't as bad as it is today. But I guess it has to do a lot with your own past and the fact that everyone loves to remember the "good old days".

Yeah before high school. Either way I really think music was better back then. I mean it was only 5 years ago but still.

I like goign back to listen to The Offspring, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth and them :ninja: and its true that rap currently sucks so ill go back and listen to mystical, trick daddy and them :o

Hehe, I can completely understand you. My magic timeline is 5 years, as well. I hated Limpbizkit, Puddle Of Mudd, StainD and Ja Rule when I was 16, in 2002. But now I listen to their music because I really like it. Coping with the past is always a little hard to explain. Is it really remembering because it was nice back then? Or is it about the fact that now you know what happened next, which gives you some kind of safety... I was really down in 2002, but now I find it - let's say.. not too bad at all. I don't know why.

Limp Bizkit? :ninja: We all need to forget that Fred Durst ever existed.

Yeah, I like some of the old songs, like "Break Stuff" and "The One".. I'm not too proud of that.. but I was a great fan of Nu Metal music.
