Not exactly lore accurate no. There are remote connections, but it's not as good as it was for the other videos. FF7 is a Nordic universe blended with Japanese references (big cities, katanas, etc.) and medieval fantasy nods. Wutai is a Chinese/Japanese part of this world. And there's the "ancient" trope that I like as well. I can't really feel it in the video. If you like watching game videos, you should trying watching FF7 remake's videos on youtube. It's just the first part of the game (there's gonna be a part 2) which is mostly Midgar, but it's great.
