I don't think I'll watch this show. I don't have HBO (though I have means to find it) and I like the last of us... so I don't want to see it butchered again (like they did in TLOU2). Since the downfall of American culture (circa 2018), I find most Hollywood writers to be untrustworthy. -
I don't know enough of Apocalypse now and the novel. CDPR's writers have lots of Easter eggs and references to the American culture (before its great downfall which happens to be circa 2015-20 to me, so right after the W3's release). Hearts of stone is a great expansion like B&W. Both expansions are somehow even better than the game. In HoS, everything looks like it's Autumn, mean right before winter is coming. Olgierd (aka David Beckham) and Iris story is very touching.

Very interesting. I had never heard of it but it seems to be a very profound and lyrical expression of a phenomenon that's been rampant in the past decades. It somehow reminds me of Nietzsche's books (especially where he talsk about the last man).

Google fires 12k people, but no uproar in the media (like for Musk's Twitter), because Google embraces the Woke cult. Woke cultists are the useful idiots of mega-corporations, as always.

The 90s and 00s were the perfect years. Everybody had the same rights, people were judged based on their individual merits (not their belonging to a "group": like men, women, straight, gay, alphabet mob, etc.). Younger generation have been molded by a cult (call it the woke, the SJW, I don't care, these ideas are a blight).
Younger generations are terrible, not because they're dumb, but because of the feeling of entitlement they have (social media, poor education, woke cult, probably explain it) Netflix Witcher is a terrible show that have weird and unnecessary tangled story telling, unfaithful retranscription of the lore and this weird touch of untalented Hollywood writing that's been there for the past 5+ years. The actors/actresses is the only good thing in the show.
I'm not a right-wing person. You should find one and ask them. It's good to listen (with goodwill) to other ppl's opinion. Back to the subject: how do you justify judging the population based on a sample that represents 0.0001% of it (the uber-rich)? Also, where's the woke policy to make more inclusion for women in coal miners, brick layers, garbage collectors?
What's interesting is the impossibility to get even a tiny display of empathy from woke believers. If someone is in the wrong category, he doesn't get jacksquat. So "progressive".
Sure. All straight white men are so full of privileges... Your favorite woke news dealer said so, hence you believe it blindly. Woke extremism sucks out both the empathy and rationality of people. Ideologues who make statements about "all men", by taking the tiny sample of rich people (0.000x%), should get back to maths classes (but since they believe that maths is racist... they won't )
The lack of empathy in left wing extremism is strong.
Fortune 500 CEOs are 0.0001% of the population. The fact that rich CEOs are men doesn't change the life of Bill, a 55 year-old homeless straight white male that lives in cardboard boxes near Washington. You don't understand statistics if you reason like that. In the US, 70% of homeless ppl are men, 75% of divorces are initiated by women, 96% of coal miners (most dangerous profession) are men, etc. Men is not a club. Just like skin color is not a club. People in these groups aren't sharing what they get with each other. When you reason by separating people in communities (that's left wing extremism), you can't understand people's suffering.
