This guy is using human beings as a weapon. This is revolting and there are very few voices to criticize him, for some reason

The Orville
Pretty good episode. It probably took most of the season's budget, but it was worth it and even the episodes with low budget are great. They treat themes that are pretty common in Sci-fi (like androids), but with a very interesting and original approach (certainly better than what Kurtzman does). Yup! All of them are great. Even the minor characters are well developped, that's really fine writing.

That's a great nickname! Do you know Cowboy Bebop? CandleVixen and I love this show. It's a great anime with music, guns, fights, shaking breasts, femininity, masculinity, love and solidarity (oh, and sci-fi as well!). It was in the 90s, the greatest years

Glad you like it Have you ever had relived memories after smelling an odour? It happened to me recently and it was really strong. Usually, it's music, images or even tastes that trigger memories, but this time it was a particular odour (very nice memory BTW )

BTW, EA's business model was to buy and milk talented companies. It reminds me of another company in the entertainment industry... I can't remember its name, but there's a mouse involved

Oh, and justice goes both ways: CD Projekt's share was worth 5€ in 2015 when the Witcher 3 was released. Now, it's close to 70€! So, the good guys get rewarded too. https://markets.businessinsider.com/stocks/cd_projekt_red-stock Let's hope they keep doing a good job with Cyberpunk 2077 and let's hope douchebag companies never buy them (I doubt it, because the founders seem to be genuinely good guys who are dedicated to making quality games, but I guess we never know).

Yes, they're disgusting. Countries had to intervene to ban their insidious gambling system (aka lootboxes). The worst of the worst is when they compared loot boxes to Kinder Surprises! (I'm not kidding: https://gamergen.com/actualites/loot-boxes-ea-games-compare-kinder-surprise-302965-1) I think the execs don't even care about their bad reputation, if they can milk the company until its death, but benefit from it in the short term, they'll do it. EA had and still has talented developpers, but the company is rotten to the core because of its management. They're a fat company (their market value is $30 billion), but 2018/19 was hard on them (the stock price decreased by 30%) because of their loot box shit in Battlefront 2, so there is a justice.... a slow one though.

The Orville
The making and editing of the show are very good too. I remember some scenes that really surprised me, like when Bortus gets stabbed. In any other show, it would've been a dream, the editing hinted all the codes/tropes of dreaming and it felt natural for it to be a dream, but... it was not and that's really well played, because I'm pretty sure no one saw it coming. That's what you expect from a good show. There are lots of other instances like this one. @Stromboli1 Remember this scene where Bortus gets stabbed?

The Orville
I like how easily the script can go from comedy to tragedy, adventure to sci-fi, crime to politics, etc. It can basically pull a lot of themes and it always feel organic and natural. That's both because the actors are good and the script is well written.
