1990s was about great entertainment. Japanese Animes were creative and very well made!

Lincoln and US Grant statues now?? The president of the Union and the leader of the Union army.... I'm not even American and I know this. What - in - the - actual - fuck - is - wrong - with - these - people? And then, nobody says anything. The USA is a self-destructing country and that's sad to watch.

I don't even have energy to criticize this. Star Wars is dead and mediocre writers compensating their lack of talent with political agenda killed it. Yay! BTW, IGN is pure shite. Their business model is to sell their ass to big companies and promote their flawed products. What a wonderful display of journalism!

I don't know if I have a favorite, but there are ones that I definitely really like. On the top of my mind: Laplace, Lagrange, Feynman (funny and great - I would've loved to discuss with this guy), Fermi, Planck, Bohr, Newton (crazy guy, but genius), Carnot, Landau, etc. There are many great ones. I don't know if I can make an exhaustive list, but I like people with great stories and genius moments. For example, the story behind Schrödinger equation is great (he said he figured it out while having sex, apparently a particularly intense episode ) The Bernoulli family is funny too. They had several famous physicists who made many great theories, but you never know which Bernoulli did what (too many of them).

Yes! Winamp, Game boy (and Game Gear too!), Water guns and Limewire (also Napster!). Love it. Jedi Knight games were awesome too.

I watched The Last of Us part 2 videos. It made me want to puke. Many people are out of characters in this game (particularly Joel). The gameplay looks good (but I hear it's pretty simplistic to play), the graphics are good (but I don't feel they are as good as RDR2 or Horizon Zero Dawn), but the storyline is bad. Really bad. Some characters are pretty devious.

Yep, it's awesome to think at this. If you want to take it further, check out the Fermi paradox and the assumption of a great filter. BTW, Fermi is one of my favortie physicists. I loved particle physics (I still love it), it's a shame I never really had to use it real life

Well, let's put it this way: 2020 started like January 1st, 1984 I could make a longer answer involving references to "L'étrange défaite" by Marc Bloch, but the comparison would be a little far-fetched (even if there are lots of things to be learned from this book). All in all, it's a matter of collective awareness IMO and we rarely understand the present until it becomes the past (and even then, we never fully understand it)

90s: creative and glorious. 00s: tech and glorious. 10s: weird and conformist. 20s: blue pill or red pill?- The Political Correctness Haters' Club
I remember it (or shall I say I fucking remember it ). The 90s (and also the 00s) were the best years. I was a kid and a I was discovering a world of freedom and opportunities. The Entertainment Industry was bold and daring. The creatives were free and provocative. Thinking about it now, we can say it was... glorious.- The Political Correctness Haters' Club
The Entertainment (Re-education) Industry taking a dump on Aliens, Forrest Gump, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Splash, Cowboy Bebop (and many more) is problematic. Or shall I put it this way? That's what Disney and their vandal buddies look like now:- The "What Are You Thinking About Right Now?" PIP

The Drinker makes a lot of great points as usual and this time his video gave me goose bumps. The studios that censor their past movies are heartless hinds. And the mobs that threatens and forces them to censor are vandals.
