I'm not sure you took the wrong approach. First, you're not the country with the highest number of deaths per inhabitants: Belgium, UK, Italy, Spain are above and they all had a lockdown in place at some point. All of them. @Matt! Pretty interesting if you ask me. It's good that Sweden didn't take the same approach as others. It gives data (even if data are far from perfectly reliable) and the possibility to compare situations, in the short term, mid term and long term.
