  1. Oh, it's getting better. People are cancelling themselves now
  2. Yep, definitely a good move. Twitter has become a cesspool. (the best proof that Parler is great is that the CNN overlords hate it ).

  5. Yeah, it's good, but it's clearly "last" gen (I'd even say second to last gen). Games like SW Jedi Fallen Order, Ghost of Tsushima or even RDR2 are much more beautiful. And there are only a couple of years between these. Even the Witcher 3 (released before DS3) looks better IMHO. Sekiro is clearly two steps ahead of DS3 in terms of graphic "complexity". I can't wait for the next gen games; the progresses are getting faster and faster. As for the gameplay, DS3 is probably one of the best of the best I've seen. The diversity of weapons, playstyle and strategies are just great. I wish other games would do that to. Like SW JFO, the game is beautiful, but they could've made a much broader spectum of powers and playstyles. Older SW games used to have more. Same for RDR2, what did it cost to add more weapons? Nothing, but it would've added much more variety in the game.

  11. I've seen journalists talking and laughing about it. That's what happens when people see the world as good vs. evil. They think they're the good guys, so the end justifies the means... Even if the "means" are to take a dump on democracy. Democrats like democracy only when they win. The "good" guys' utopia does look like a dystopia. Censoring, lying, making lists: all good, if you are part of the good guys. What a wonderful world.
  12. She is a high profile Washington Post journalist (Jeff Bezos' newspaper - a very progressive guy ), MSNBC contributor and... a witch hunter. She loves her lists and she wants to "burn down" (sic) those who disagree with her. The "progress" is coming.

  14. Defund the police.... but not when you need it. And you need it because you disagreed with your Lyft driver about the windows. He wanted them down (to protect you from covid) and you wanted them up (because you see yourself as an privileged citizen). Sanctimony, hypocrisy. Everything is fine in the city of Portland.

  17. Agreed. Sekiro was harder, because there's only one playstyle: it's mostly katana fight. The tools are useful at some very specific moments, but you can't go far if you don't manage the katana. In DS3, you have many play styles. For example, if you're bad at parrying, you can always roll. In Sekiro, if you can't parry, you can't play. DS3 is very fluid and you can't change your course while playing. In Sekiro, hitting the wrong button at the wrong moment can often mean that you lose half your health. I've only heared the track at firelink shrink (which is good) and the tracks during boss fights. They didn't seem to have many others. The gameplay looks to be mostly without music
  18. I don't manage to watch a youtuber play a game... I know Alina Rin and Marz, because they're hot, but even their videos, I can't watch them for more than a couple of minutes. However, I watch gamers' "tests" on youtube. This I do, because some youtubers make great tests, much better than gaming journalists. Gaming journalists are bad. They don't know anything about gaming, they hate gamers (they openly say so) and they keep politicizing everything. But Gaming should (mostly) remain a counter culture, as it was always meant to be. BTW, I really love Dark Souls 3.
  19. I guess we're all mentally ill somehow, or have been, or will be one day (with various degrees of course). Just like our body can be ill (or let's say "dented"), our mind can be dented too (at various degrees). BTW, there's a really good psychologist called J. Haidt, that says our minds need to be challenged and encounter hardships (at small doses, not too much), in order to become more resilient. He compares it to the immune system. Anyway, as much as I believe in individuals, I think that societal issues can generate mental problems. PC culture, cancel culture or witch hunts (that some people are promoting it right now) are generating tremendous stress in society. If I was an American politician (and I'm neither American nor a politican ), I would talk about the opioid crisis, drug abuse, depression... they keep growing and it shows that something isn't completely right. Solidarity, help, selflessness and a common goal are maybe missing. Anyway, don't worry, I'm just another random guy rambling on, on the internet.
