Yes on this conflict, but also more generally.
I don't trust US/UK media very much, but I'm sure Reuters is more factual than "opinion media". I feel that more and more newspapers around the world are copying US articles, because of budget cuts (and most journalists speak English and it's very easy to copy and translate an article).
I see the US media as the equivalent of fast food restaurants. It's cheap, it's unhealthy, everyone complains that it's crap, but they love to go there anyway... There's an obesity epidemic and there's a "dumbing down" epidemic, but somehow, in both instances, the prime pathogen agents don't face lots of immune defenses...
