Thank you and goodnight! I've already analysed this game to death so let me just say that I'm very pleased, we played very well and that our second goal may in fact be one of the sexiest goals ever scored by a Villa player. At least it feels that way right now. Given the moment, given the opposition and given Ashley Young's delightful run...classy.

BVB won at Rostock but God knows how. Tinga was even worse than usual. A truly awful game that if anyone had to win, it was surely them. Still, a win's a win. I was so glad I decided to check out the final thirty minutes of Fulham-Spurs. What a fantastic, hilarious collapse from Champions League bound Spurs. Or do I mean Championship bound Spurs? Oh how we laugh... Villa-Chelsea tomorrow, not such a laughing matter. A point would be nice, a win veers more towards the unthinkable.

Across The Universe
So this doomed film is finally getting released. We could have a new Give My Regards to Broad Street on our hands, folks.

I don't anticipate too many surprises. I know Man Utd have started the season slowly but Kiev and Roma would both do very well to finish above them. After all, it wasn't that long ago that they completely molested Roma at Old Trafford. If Shakhtar Donetsk and Besitkas qualify, then in the unlikely event that we ever meet up, I'll pay for lunch. Also, I'd have PSV finishing ahead of Fenerbache. Most importantly, Chelsea and Valencia should be too strong for Schalke. And if Rosenborg beat them home and away, well that'd be a bonus.- Football
The Champions League group draw for your viewing pleasure. Group A: Liverpool, Porto, Marseille, Besiktas Group B: Chelsea, Valencia, Schalke, Rosenborg Group C: Real Madrid, Werder Bremen, Lazio, Olympiakos Group D: Milan, Benfica, Celtic, Shakhtar Donetsk Group E: Barcelona, Lyon, Stuttgart, Rangers Group F: Man Utd, Roma, Sporting Lisbon, Dynamo Kiev Group G: Inter, PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow, Fenerbache Group H: Arsenal, Sevilla or AEK Athens, Steau Bucharest, Slavia Prague- Anna Faris
Oh, I see. I just actually bothered to look at the picture at the top of the page, she's had her lips "amplified". The trout pout strikes again and unsurprisingly, it looks absolutely dreadful. Still, mystery solved.- Anna Faris
Didn't Anna Faris used to be somewhat cute? On Entourage, she looked awful.- Tennis
Henman won, now 'bout that? If there's any justice in the world, the ol' tiger will have a plucky run to the quarter-finals. And then lose. But with dignity! Too bad Hantuchova's out, that's cut down the cute and sexy factor significantly. Go Ivanovic!- Football

- Did You Like American Beauty?
You know, I had a feeling that was probably wrong but I didn't check. Pardon the lazy error. Regardless, American Beauty undoubtedly served to influence awful dreck like Desperate Housewives.- Did You Like American Beauty?
This film is another dull, suburban "commentary" that gets even more irritable the longer it smugly trundles along. Sweeping and utterly contrived character contradictions that are really predictable and a third act that relies on some stupid innuendo shots; hardly surprising that the guy who wrote it went on to create Desperate Housewives. :yuckky:- Emergency Room
She doesn't even have her own thread here, which is crazy. Someone should make one. Someone who isn't lazy, like me.- Football
Excellent weekend with both Villa and BVB recording their first wins of the season. I thought it was going to be one of those oh so typical games where Villa create a hundred chances but end up settling for a draw against clearly inferior opposition. But no, not this time! Same for Dortmund, I was worried all the pressure would amount to nothing but the lad Klimowicz was awesome. Ah, good times... - Diane Kruger
