I'd like to see Man City implode and Hughes leave in a blaze of fury.

Always seemed regally mediocre, on Saturday he was downright shameful. Flamini was a filthy lil' bandit but my how they miss him.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 (PRE-SHOW Thread)
Frederick replied to PinkCouture's topic in 2008
It can't be any worse than last year's. Its like they thought the show had been too 'high brow' previously and had to be more like a glorified hen night. VS can't have too many more primetime outings, aren't the ratings always worse year after year? -
Freddy's 8 favourite pictures that's he's posted...that he could find...in a ten minute search...er, why didn't I do ten? Er...er....enjoy! and of course...

So I'm not allowed to criticise the Spurs situation because I support Villa? My original post wasn't a case of a Villa supporter getting high and mighty, whilst mocking poor ol' Spurs, I didn't bring Villa into it, you did. Should I go back in time and not laugh at when the Glazers took over Man Utd because of their subsequent title wins? After all, what have we won lately? Please. Besides, I've posted countless cynical/jaded/bitter/mocking remarks about Villa and will continue to do so, I have absolutely no delusions about my club, its past, present or future. You need to let the Merchant of Venice thing go, I would have compared Harry Redknapp to Shylock after he moved to Southampton from Portsmouth, Spurs had nothing to do with it. I consider this tedious matter finished. Between your smug over-written bleeding heart nonsense and your obnoxious avatar, I'm putting you on ignore.

Media's inevitable response to Rays 4-1 defeat: This is a young team, they can only learn from this! Go Rays! Media's April AL East preview: Yeah, Yankees! Yeah, Red Sox! You can never count out Toronto! The Orioles, what a great history! Who are these 'Rays' I see listed?

The last time I saw him, he was working for a lower division club (it might have been Northampton, but I could be wrong about that) as a goalkeeping coach. They were featured on Match of the Day in a cup game a few years back and he was caught on camera poking one of the opposing coaches in the eye But thanks for the info - he was always a colourful and unpredictable character, but not once did I see a career as a tennis instructor in his future!
-
So he can stay fit and play for England during the MLS off-season.

A truly balanced and objective assessment, Sir . . . Bravo, bravo! A "notoriously money obsessed crook", you say? Now, if you were to tell me that 'Arry was not the brightest of sparks or that he was a Del Boy-style wheeler-and-dealer then I would be inclined to agree, but, seriously, making wide-ranging and unfounded (some might say libelous) accusations against one really isn't very wise. And honestly, accusing Harry of being money grabbing, weeks after he turned down a lucrative deal with Newcastle, really isn't very clever, is it? Nice literary reference too. You might just want to watch out though, as it could seem pretty crass painting Harry as Shylock, and playing on Tottenham's Jewish reputation, no? Further to your comments regarding success and stability, I think that you'll find, to quote Deloitte, that Spurs are the most cost-effectively run team in the Premiership, and that not so long ago they recorded two consecutive fifth place finishes and won the Carling Cup. Now, this and last season really haven't been the best, but supporting a team owned by an American sugar daddy (and previously Doug Ellis), devoid of silverware and, until recently, barren of European football, really doesn't leave Villa with a leg to stand on when it comes to talk of success and stability. Thanks for your thoughts, they were really most constructive, particularly the sign off!

That new Ralph Lauren advert is a big bland pile of piss. Even for Ralph Lauren.

This whole situation reeks of greed and pig headed ignorance. Harry Redknapp is a notoriously money obsessed crook that wouldn't look out of place in The Merchant of Venice while Spurs and Daniel Levy have no idea how to run a successful/sustainable football club. LOLz @ Spurs, you continue to astound me with your stupidity, you pack of morons. Michael, Lionel ended up at Cambridge United, but after he retired he became a tennis instructor. He used to lay down his magic not far from where I used to play, in fact I often used to see him shouting 'Oui! Oui!' as he encouraged some 12 year-old girl's backhand.

It is nothing new, it just it irked me specifically with the Rays because, call me old fashion, I don't consider them a 'proper' baseball franchise.
-
Sunderland fan, eh? I had the misfortune to attend Villa-Sunderland last season, my sole outing of the year, and as you'll recall we were beaten 0-1 in one of our few truly awful performances of the O'Neill era. Back in '97 I saw us beat y'all 1-0 when you had Lionel Perez in goal. Savo Milosevic scored (deflected).

Matt, I agree. They should have awarded the Phillies the whole darn thing after the Red Sox lost, because surely no one can be watching this feeble excuse of a World Series. The most annoying thing about the Rays story is suddenly all these nuckleheads are coming out of the woodwork like they've supported the team for years. The only Rays I've ever spoken to was Bellazon's own Hyperion, and that was on the Internet~! Having that said, I like the Marlins, they're my favourite NL team by a clear distance.

How's Barry settling into your midfield, Ed? Oh, wait, that's right... ZING~!

Awful. The first one is just usual airbrushing nonsense, the other one has Diane cuddled up next to starfucking coke fiends (at least that's what Elle looks like). Everything else on this page (except Orblando and the red head stuff) is amazing.
-
Diane's response to the bouque question is brilliant, especially with the raised eyebrow at the end!

BVB are 13th and remain utterly hopeless, Bayern won the league (got hammered by Zenit, though!), Hamburg pissed their season up the wall and somehow Schalke have been allowed to continue existing, despite being the incarnation of evil. So basically, business as usual.
-
On a lighter note, BVB beat Stuttgart. Only 31 points behind Bayern!
