Maybe a few years ago, runway presence was the big factor in determining campaign success but now it seems more social media presence or have a designer/stylist/some insider backing you.

I mean I can't totally blame her. Why do runway that doesn't pay well (if at all) and have to do castings and fittings when there's commercial work?

Because I'm nosy curious, I looked up the casting directors of four of the shows she walked (is it five if you include Baja East? I didn't include that. It was a party. Not a show?) and some of the shows they cast. Marchesa - Shaun Beyen Prabal Gurung - Maida + Rami Tommy Hilfiger - Michelle Lee Tory Burch - Anita Bitton Anita did Miu Miu the past few seasons and Sara's been there the past few seasons so Miu Miu looks possible. Bottega is a stretch. Otherwise that was really about it. Her first time walking a Maida + Rami show and first time with a Shaun show as far as I can tell.

The hilarious part about this is casts the VSFS. I'm wondering if all of Ashley's shows are out. I'll have to double check but I don't think she walked any of her shows.

Green bikini with the waterfall raining down on her. My favorite! She nailed all of them but wow that one is just... I can't even!

I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of Vita (I find her boring 99% of the time) but I'll give credit where it's due. The SI shots where she doesn't have braids are amazing.

Maybe they figured if VS can finally do away with them, so can they? But at least if they brought them back, no one would look bad outfit wise. Can't say the same for bad hair and makeup.

So sad to hear of the passing of Mike Ilitch. He did marvelous things for Detroit, with both Little Caesars and his passion for the two sports teams he owned. May he rest in peace.
