They must suck at sifting through bullshit and don't question anything. Basically you need to be taught how to think not what to think. This is the reason I could've never been in the military.
Critical thinking skills my friend. Also intelligence plays a factor in my opinion. Guess what .... most of the world is remarkably average. That being said I do believe there different forms of intelligence, but that's another discussion for another time.
