SI is apparently going to have Athletes (as seen on the app cover with Kate) that we know nothing about. Myyyy mistake, thought you meant the rookie/preview pics. I didn't see those comments but anyone who thinks that should probably consult the video. Cause it looks like it happened to me. Not that there isn't some pretty bad PS on the cover... As for the de-nippling, I think the worst one was Marisa Miller's cover. Come to think of it there hasn't been an SI swim cover I REALLY liked for a long time now. That said, I'm still excited to see inside the mag! Especially Emily R's body painting pics!!!!!!

Personally, I don't care about Teigen one way or another, but it's funny to see how different communities can feel so polar opposite. On many of the other forums and sites I frequent, Chrissy is a huge favourite BECAUSE of her personality, her tweets, her snark, her references to pop culture, etc. However you feel about her, you gotta admit she's way quicker with the one-liners than most models...

why in the world do you think this was photoshopped? i swear, you guys are a bit too quick to cry "photoshop!" it's like the sneak peeks--people here saying those were photoshopped, with zero evidence. I disagree, I think SI has become pretty flagrant with the photoshopping. That quick pic of Kate on the app cover didn't even look like her body, which is hilarious when we can all clearly see what she looks like in videos, candids, etc. And that's a GOOD example of photoshopping, sometimes they don't even make the girls look better at all, they usually just take unflattering angles and make them look like their skin is made out of orange putty. One of my favourite examples is this . Her knees look like they're made of polymer clay. Why?? Does SI not want us to think that Genevieve has HUMAN KNEES? It doesn't make her look "better," it just makes the pic look weird as hell.

That said, usually a woman is okay with me playing with her chest. When I ask about her backside and what I wish to do... Well. Ya @Pretty you're welcome. Now I need to get home and edit my text. Sometimes the thing you have to work the hardest for is that which yields the greatest rewards. Or something.

I say this as a big-breasted girl myself: in my experience and observation and study, guys like ass AT LEAST as much as they like tits. In fact, for a lot of them, maybe even more. Trust me, I have a vested interest in the ass vs tits debate, lol. Personally, "teasing" for me is about a lot more than not showing certain body parts. I still find her very sexy and want to see more of her in any state of dress or undress. However, I don't think she fits in with SI's sporty, vanilla girl-next-door thing they've got going. She's too artsy and dark and badass. More movies with Fincher, pls.

I love boobs as much as anybody else, probably more, but I'm happy to see some ass on the cover of SI. There's a whole other half of T&A, there's no reason to neglect it. Not sure how I feel about the cover overall though. Emily Ratajkowski has a really nice butt... just sayin.

Yeah I was thinking that; I think their press release said the cover reveal was happening tonight, model visit next week. Doesn't it seem kinda awkward to do a reveal and not have any interaction from the model, though? Like, "here it is. cool huh? welp, let's move on to Aaron Paul or whoever our guest is..." Although I disagree that it could be anyone, lol.

Although I'm 95% sure the cover will be KU in zero gravity, I really think a multi-girl cover would be better. You'd still have the requisite amount of Upton, but you'd add a little bit of novelty, it makes sense for a 50th anniversary issue, they haven't done a multi cover in years, and it would free them up to give her more solo covers in the future without being totally stale. Then again, body types like hers usually have a shorter shelf life for bikini modelling.. might as well get as many solo covers out of it now? Em&Em&Co being in NY should put to rest any questions about any of them being on the cover. Even if there weren't the location/logistics issue, I wouldn't think SI would parade around their cover girl(s) so casually right before a reveal.

I missed this entire argument, but all I know is that this post is so articulate and beautiful, I'm having a hard time not mentally attributing it to Karlie Kloss and developing a deep attraction toward her. Also Valerie looks like Marisa Miller in her reveal pic.
