2015 SI Swimsuit
This bit actually makes me like her more. Personally I have a problem with this attitude and it's not about my personal preferences of what I find attractive or not. Being fat is NOT healthy, the fat acceptance movement is NOT healthy. As a country and as a culture we should embrace fitness and health, not fat and not overly skinny. It greatly saddens me that culturally we accept extremely unhealthy lifestyle choices just so we don't hurt people's feelings.

2015 SI Swimsuit
Already a bad sign of wondering these kind of things I'm sure she will do well, just like last year and average years. The real question is if she'll sell more than the usual years and be like say Kate Upton or Marisa Miller which are both known to be the best-selling issues in the last decade Again, I don't see how this could go wrong, it's Sports Illustrated all you need is a hot girl in a bikini and they delivered, I'm sure 99% of guys who buy the magazine every year per tradition give zero fucks about who is in the cover as long as they get that. I had heard that Bar Refaeli's cover outsold Marisa's and was the best selling of the decade until Kate, is that not true?

If you're getting threatened that someone could take you to court over something, then it's probably indicative that images/content released is not intended to be viewed earlier for good reasons. I'm pretty sure somewhere it was mentioned that even with other brands they have requested BZ to remove things because they don't want people to see it beforehand. Legal threats ≠ actual legal ground to stand on, but it's not my site. The mods here already have a policy where content is not supposed to be linked back to the original sources, which opens them up to copyright infringement every single day. As someone who's very familiar with copyright law, it's quite amusing.

The paranoia around here cracks me up. There's already massive amounts of copyrighted content posted on here that's not credited to it's original source. Posting leaked pictures from SI won't change that one way or another.Yes posting content that is officially released without credit is fine seeing as how it's everywhere. But posting leaked stuff that isn't anywhere else is a huge risk. A huge risk to what? There's absolutely no difference legally.

Um, why does this policy exist? It's seems like it's the antithesis of what should happen. Shouldn't we be linking to original sources and crediting where images originate from? Otherwise it's just another form of piracy... What is Hotlinking? It is posting an image from one website onto another one, such as BZ. This not only steals bandwidth from original site, but also may result in broken links overtime (empty posts & etc), an increased server bill for the original site, and potential legal issues. That's the whole point, original contact SHOULD come from the originating site. They SHOULD be paying for the bandwidth and at the same time they SHOULD be collecting any advertising revenue based on click throughs to their site. The policy that's been enacted in regard to this flies in the face of copyright law and basic rules of data aggregation. A site this size, with this many members, that I assume has some type of revenue generation model should be very careful, because as the policy currently stands it opens up whoever owns and operates the site to copyright infringement suits. Basically, the rule of thumb for any site that's considered an aggregator, be it news, images, etc., is that a link to the original source be included and any images or text that are then displayed on this site should be linked directly back to their original location. This is long, but explains everything... http://www.niemanlab.org/2010/09/whats-the-law-around-aggregating-news-online-a-harvard-law-report-on-the-risks-and-the-best-practices/ This site is considered a User-Curated Aggregator. Check the best practices at the bottom of the article, those are what a site like this should be following. Items number 3 and 4 I think are the most applicable to this situation... "Best practices If you are the creator of a news aggregation website, what should you do to protect yourself against lawsuits? Short of licensing all of the content you use, there are certain best practices that you can adopt that are likely to reduce your legal risk. 1. Reproduce only those portions of the headline or article that are necessary to make your point or to identify the story. Do not reproduce the story in its entirety. 2. Try not to use all, or even the majority, of articles available from a single source. Limit yourself to those articles that are directly relevant to your audience. 3. Prominently identify the source of the article. 4. Whenever possible, link to the original source of the article. 5. When possible, provide context or commentary for the material you use."

I think you said it all in those last few sentences, look at your behavior. Again, what is it about discussing this model that makes you so hostile? If you don't like her ignore it and pay attention to posts about models you do like. Trying to dictate who can discuss whom on here is pretty pointless. Also, trying to bait me into a fight is pretty immature and doesn't do anything but make you look worse.

I think Cult is getting a bad rap in here. Charlotte is pretty amazing looking and could easily be an SI model if they wanted her. I don't quite get why some people are so annoyed talking about her. Obviously she has some sort of "it" factor to be generating attention around here... Nope, one person just keeps bringing her up and people respond, because that's what people do on the internet. How's Frisco these days? My point exactly, if people are responding continuously there's something there. However you kind of glossed over the main point, why so much hostility for talking about a beautiful girl that could easily be an SI model?
