Well, in this case, the guy is someone I went to school with for years. He has always been notorious for being not very intelligent, yet very arrogant. Cult, I know girls like this, as well. In fact, the mother of the guy in question is like this. I really don't think it has to do with his gender. He clearly has a huge chip on his shoulder about a few things - there's no question about it. Maybe if you knew the things he acted sensitive/competitive about (his alma mater's athletic record and academic ranking, for example), you'd understand. @PinkCouture You are correct that I don't need to be around his toxicity, so I should be thankful! I think he's worse around women - there might be some psychology to that. In fact, he's at his worst around women who have rejected him.

Thanks, @PinkCouture ! I certainly don't have to deal with him enough that he brings me down - he's fresh in my mind because a mutual friend forced us to be in the same space recently. His arrogance/need to "one-up" is definitely a defense mechanism, @Cult Icon. He probably convinces himself he has "contempt" for those around him, but the reality is hates feeling inferior.

That's true. The person I'm thinking of just constantly brags about himself while undermining those around him. At this point, when I talk to him, I just nod along to stroke his ego - the conversation needs to be alllll about him and how great he is. The worst part is that if he feels threatened in any way (this happens often), he starts to criticize/put down whoever he feels threatened by. If he perceives someone else to be more accomplished than him, for example, he'll downplay their achievements and brag about his own.

^ I agree. That was my first thought. But then I read many more blind items about this type of thing taking place - I don't think it's as uncommon as you'd think. Chrissy Teigen talked about it in an interview once - that models can make good money doing this. The more I think about it, I guess it does make sense. Dubai and Cannes seem to be the hot spots for this to take place. I know Kim K., Kendall, and Gigi have been "special guests" at parties for men in Dubai before (escorting not confirmed).

I really like the vibe and music to that video. I actually don't mind the suits, either. SI always makes the girls look so natural and sexy. I will say, though, that a few of them don't seem to have the most toned stomachs. On another note, SI needs new copy editors. The video should be called a "sneak peek" - not a "sneak peak."

The Hadids (Gigi, Bella, Yolanda F.) I'm realizing a lot of people actually find this clan attractive, which confuses me. Even the Kardashians beat them IMO (I'm talking looks only). Anwar Hadid is kind of hot, though.

I like those pics, too. Her stomach and arms are so thin for someone with such big breasts. She looks good...and as I've said before, I don't think her face is thaaat bad either.

She's gorgeous. Aging really well IMO - she and Jessica Alba both (those Latina genes?). She has bad taste in men, though, and it seems as though she can never just be single. Britney Spears is the same way. It's a head-scratcher.

Leo will find the right girl in a few years or so, and she'll be a lawyer or businesswoman - something like that. Once he achieves his idea of career success, he'll start going for girls who are actually in his league.

Here is a post I accidentally posted to his other thread earlier today: So, he split from Kelly Rohrbach. She seemed like a great girl, but I really don't think Leo is ready to settle down yet, and I think that's perfectly OK. He's only 41, which IMO isn't that old (especially for an actor as successful and with as many options as Leo), and I don't think he's at the right place in his career to settle down. For one thing, I think he'd like to receive an Oscar before he shifts his focus to marriage and starting a family. I think he'll ultimately pull a George Clooney and marry a smart woman who is independently successful. I don't see him marrying a model. The only one I could have seen that with was Gisele, but obviously she's taken now. I'm sick of people giving him flack for only dating twenty-something models. Clearly, he just doesn't care that much right now.

I've noticed Nick Jonas is everywhere lately. He was in a few episodes of the show Scream Queens...he had a popular song or two over the summer...he is all over social media...and I also saw him posing alongside Gigi and Kendall in a recent editorial in Vogue. So, for whatever reason, his PR team is pushing him into the spotlight right now. I think he was also on tour with Demi Lovato.
