    ^ Plus, to the general public, literally no one is going to know or care that Russian girls or Mayowa are missing. Gigi is the only real set back for VS if they’re still looking to snag her fan base, but they’ve got Bella still so I’m sure they’ll be fine in the IG tweenieboppers demo. Last year they didn’t do a lip sync at the show, they had that one from the various shoots. Also, any word on the “Live” preshow? I know last year they filmed it ahead of time during their press week, but I haven’t seen any promo for them having one at all this year.

    I don’t really think all the blame can be put on VS for things like the visas and whatnot. They were planning this show 18 months in advance, were going to China to scout and research. They gave the models almost 3 months notice to get their visa situations in check, and had no say in who did or didn’t get denied. From what I’ve heard about the Chinese government, things could have seemed like smooth sailing a few months ago, and then changed without much rhyme or reason. I don’t doubt it’s a mess, but I understand why VS choose to do the show there since it IS a huge market for them and this was a great marketing move if they manage to pull it off. I think VS looked at the risks, and decided the potential reward was worth it.

    I think VS will leave it short. They’ve left it alone for the holiday commercial and the press events, and they had Karlie walk with short hair, plus a lot of the black girls have been walking with their natural hair recently so I don’t think they’re as much into having all the girls conform to one look.

    I just went into Camille Rowe’s tagged pictures on IG, and I would not wish that pathetic pettiness and vitriol from Harry’s fans on anyone, let alone my baby Elsa. She’s probably too private to do it, but I hope Camille shows up to attend as a big FU to his fans. Also hoping Kstew shows up to support her girl.

    After thinking about it for a bit, I’m actually really happy with the performers! I think this will be a really good set. I’m not personally a big fan of Harry and his recent album, but I can see how he’ll fit into the show well and I can’t see him being one of the in your face performers that will over-interact with the models. The other three are lesser known artists, and won’t distract/overpower the models like Gaga or Tswizzle did. And I think Miguel and Leslie will bring back a sexy sultry vibe hopefully. I think Kevork mentioned Jane and Leslie possible performing together? I would be a fan of that.

    No? Not at all. Leslie Odom Jr. He’s an actor in Hamilton on Broadway, but apparently has a jazz album that went #1 last year.

    Leslie Odom Jr is a broadway singer and actor. I didn’t even know he had any original music out. 22 outfits in Balmain- wow. That’ll be a long segment.

    I know I'm biased, but I think Elsa is looking great at this event. I'm loving the hair and make up on everyone in general. Taylor and Jasmine look beautiful, although I wish Jas had kept her hair dark.

    I was just thinking the same thing. Plus her being quiet on IG is really odd to me considering how perky she usually is, especially concerning VS stuff. Also...this face. She looks so annoyed by something.

    Pics are up on Getty. It looks like Taylor, Candice and Sui are doing press at the VS store. Lais and Romee are doing some promotional thing with Dogpound for Train Like An Angel. Stella is somewhere, dunno where. The rest of the Angels have been quiet on social media about their whereabouts.
