I bought 3 or 4 swim sets when they discontinued swim and it was all on clearance, and they're great suits. I find most other options are ridiculously expensive (lmao I'm sorry, $90 for a pair of bottoms only? I think not.) or reasonably priced but felt super cheap. Also selfishly loved the VS swim shoots.

That was honestly one of the things that made me hyped up for the issue- trying to figure out the models and locations etc. with people in the thread. It’s underwhelming now.

Last year Taylor had all of January off from VS as well, so doesn’t necessarily mean anything. Dany was def just doing white wall. Robin has been involved with the more important shoots though.

NA_v2.0 I’m actually really interested to see how this shoot will turn out. I’m a big fan of Gizele, and I like Herieth and Cindy as well, and I’ll just be nice to see some none white wall stuff in general.

I believe today is Jo, Jas, Lais, and Elsa. Edit: Romee is there as well. This many girls makes me think today is a commercial shoot.

^ While I don’t think it was the boob job specifically, I can see HF shying away from how Jo markets herself. I have never followed her, so I can’t say wether if it was different or not before VS signed her, but she really promotes her as this men’s mag model. Her IG is all tits, sexy, male gaze pictures, and while that’s probably a great image for a lingerie brand to capitalize on, it’s not what HF brands are going to go for.

It's also a limiting contract though. It keeps them from working with other more prestigious lingerie brands, and even if they do have a more lax time commitment, it's still a commitment. Plus I think the "nice paycheck" is up in the air when they have to pay for so many girls. It's probably nothing to turn your nose up at, but it probably isn't as big of a draw as you think.

I believe they all originally received the same contract when they signed (minus maybe Elsa because it sounds like she signed a couple months earlier) but they were short term contracts(Jac and Kate both had a year and were let go), and were recently up for negotiations. I wouldn't be surprised if Sara and Taylor choose to leave. VS has never given Sara any preferential treatment, and she keeps going on about how acting is her true passions. And Taylor's career is eons beyond VS at this point.

No word on Martha or Sara, but I could see them possibly shooting with Jas tomorrow. Taylor just flew to London, so I’m sure she’s missing this shoot.
