Any company that I’ve personally shopped at that allowed in store returns also allowed mail back returns, which is pretty simple solution.

Anywhere in Asia. Lighter skin indicates a higher social standing in a majority of those countries. Stems from the belief that you didn’t have to work out in the fields and therefore wouldn’t be exposed to the sun. My aunt is constantly sending me beauty products over from Thailand and they’re without fail they always have some sort of lightening/bleach component. India is probably one of the biggest “culprits” of this. Bleaching is very heavily promoted as part of their beauty standard. Re: VS online sales. I don’t know if it’s the same in the states, but you currently can’t return online purchases in store in Canada, which I know personally disaudes me from purchasing online. A majority of places I shop online allow returns in their store fronts, so you don’t have to worry about paying shipping/shipping things back on time if there are fit or quality issues. If VS really wants to capitalize on online sales, I think that would be a great step for them to take. I know I would purchase a lot more online if that were the case, as size and colour selections can be better than in store.

Agreed. I feel like they’re trying to compete with Aerie on that “everyday cute and casual, young woman chilling with her friends in bralettes and logo tees” but it doesn’t work for them. Aerie is successfully selling the “real woman” vibe, with their zero photoshop and diversity of body sizes, but it falls flat with VS. They need to embrace their history of the fantasy, sexy lingerie brand and move back towards that.

I think a better size range would definitely help them. I have friends that are what I would consider very normal/average sizes (not plus or overweight) who don't fit into a majority of VS sizings. Of the 120 bras currently listed on the VS website, only 17 of those styles are made in their largest sizes, 40D-DDD. If people simply can't buy your product, then that's consumer dollars going elsewhere. (I also think VS inflates their sizing.)

It almost seems like she's transitioned to "plus" modeling. (I use "plus" very loosely and going by industry standards.) Honestly it would be a great move for her if she wants to stay in modelling. It takes a lot of the body pressure off her, and she has enough of a platform to promote change in the industry.

The whole site right now is very Jo/Romee focused. I was just clicking through the category pages, and they have the most promo pictures. There's definitely some Jas on the sport page, and a couple pictures each of Elsa and Stella but tons of Jo and Romee right now. Couple of Roos and Robin too.

Just realized this will affect my topics like this one where I track the VS Shoots and update as the month goes along to keep things clean. I understand the issue, but am wondering how long you would be willing to extend the editing window for? Also if it's not too much trouble, if a staff could delete the posts I made tonight in that thread. I forgot I wouldn't be able to edit them and made them to "save" the posts, but it'll look cluttered now if I can't edit them when those dates come up. Thank you.
