Cloud Atlas (2012)
Release: October 26 2012 World Wide Directed by siblings Lana and Andy Wachowski, who helmed The Matrix blockbusters, and Run Lola Run filmmaker Tom Tykwer, the movie tells a story spanning 500 years. Based on the bestselling 2004 novel by David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Susan Sarandon, Xun Zhou, and a slew of other known actors taking on varied, multiple roles, from a bald-headed, foul-mouthed writer (Hanks) to a violent futuristic villain covered in face paint (Grant). CLOUD ATLAS explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future. Each member of the ensemble appears in multiple roles as the stories move through time. Cloud Atlas Extended Trailer 1 Cloud Atlas Extended Trailer 2

End of Watch 2012
From the writer of Training Day, End of Watch is a riveting action thriller that puts audiences at the center of the chase like never before. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña star as young LA police officers who discover a secret that makes them the target of the country's most dangerous drug cartel. [Just watched this today. What a charismatic and charming film. Also hilarious. Gyllenhaal and Pena have such great chemistry, also fast moving and very creative.

The Master (2012)
I just saw this today. JOAQUIN PHOENIX....PHILLIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN...I have no words. Cult we have similar tastes in movies it seems. Still have to continue our Batman conversation via pm The Master, a tale of hope...desperation..dependency..belonging...love...loyalty...faith...uncertainty...certainty...blindness...selfishness..intolerance...exploration The master is about the movement and the 'cause' of Scientology, it's leader played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Perhaps the best part of this film was it's ability to portray those doing the laughing and those that are laughed at in the same light. The believers of a seemingly crazy cult and the non believers. It also very intelligently explores the depths of Scientology in it's effects on troubled souls (both positive effects and negative effects) Really though, I think it is symbolic for any religion taken in extreme or in cult like fashion. It's a beautiful beautiful tale about how this criticized movement helps and hurts a drunkard sex-craved Navy veteran. Also brilliant is the fact that through almost every scene of Phillip Seymour Hoffman's and his family--you could see their deep rooted doubt in their faith as well--Never blunt and so artistically subtle. Seymour's character is a despicable one at times, but the true genius of the Master is in his words...slaves to our beliefs however they come be. I am in love with this film, I will wait for a fuller and more detailed review until all have seen it! So I don't bring on spoilers... one of my favorite scenes take place when the 'crew' first reaches NY, and the gentleman who doubts Scientology has a debate with Hoffman. Hoffman so accurately represents individuals with such strong convictions in their faith that they can't rationally debate or truly tolerate disbelief, or IMO...for Seymour Hoffman...can't tolerate anyone challenging his self assessed intellect. The reason for this is because he is insecure about what it is that he stands for and his very capabilities. Bottom line, Seymour Hoffman needs to help Joaquin's character believe in himself and improve, so Seymour himself could believe in his cause. At least that is my take of it. So many complexities and view points to discuss in this film. I'm in love with Joaquin Phoenix all over again.

The Official Victoria's Secret Thread
We need more people like you here. This has been my mantra since the first day I joined bellazon. Just because you are a fan of a model/celebrity does not mean you have to AGREE or CO SIGN every single thing they do/say/think or think every picture they've ever taken is flawless. NOTE TO lima, candice, miranda, blake, and leo thread lol. The people in those threads can be insane when it comes to understanding that not everything a person you're a fan of does needs to be defended.

As for miranda/the whole wanting fame thing. I agree, obviously all of the models want some level of recognition/fame. Some more than others though, but I guess I could be wrong about that. I mean I've noticed in the past few years, Adriana hardly goes to events and it's almost as though she avoids the media (as far as candids go) but then at the same time, when she was younger...she seemed to be much like all the other models as far as attention-seeking goes. But I think there are different levels. Miranda, Ale, and Heidi are like threat red level. Heidi klum would show up to the opening of a tuna can if she could. So tacky. Miranda does seem to be a pretty huge attention seeker, but for me it's mostly her personality (or lack there of)

I love that you just said the same thing in 7 different ways/sentences lol, you're funny I admire your ability to find that funny and not irritating. Show me your ways Oh-Great-Cherrybomb! The trick is to compare it to the more annoying people on here (no names will be mentioned). But in comparison, posts such as these are a low level of irritating. Visit the AL thread and view people arguing over who posted what first, and asking why it is that random websites don't find godess AL to be the #1 hottest and most relevant woman on earth. Also, for kicks don't miss out on the unsolved question of why it is that AL has people tweeting mean things to her, how dare they? and those mean comments on dailymail? I guess they don't know that certain supermodels are above all other celebrities, and it's blasphemy for them to receive any time of 'hate' from strangers on the internet. You see, in comparison to bitchy and otherwise retarded comments found in some other threads...this is more something that just makes me laugh.

Blake Lively
Me neither considering how quickly she jumped from the leo to ryan ship lol (not 'hating' on her) just saying-she and leo ended things october of just last year, and it's been not even a year since she started dating Ryan. I'm not going to try and guess how long they will be together, I just find it pretty shocking that she got married so soon as well.

Miranda seemed a lot more excited about Victoria's Secret when she first started out, since then not so much. I obviously don't know Miranda and don't know anyone who has met her but to me, she has always come off as boring/I think I'm superior than all. She only seems to have 'personality' when she's shooting a commercial or something for VS. Even her interviews are extremely boring (Chelsea Lately/Ellen)

^ I agree with that, they make the girls faces look too strong and gaudy. Did that with Adriana and the horrible green eye shadow, overdone blush, and ridiculous amounts of lip gloss, i just saw a shoot of Candice with the same its horrible. and those colorful gems look like they're out of the pretty pretty prices board game i played as a child. cheap.

I'm ashamed for not truly realizing how beautiful this girl is until recently, she is amazing...and her parents are cute- Erin Heatherton

I think it's her nose beach bunny, it's actually pretty wide/awkward looking often times. It doesn't change her appeal much though. I really wish VS would relax with the make up, even with a beauty campaign ...some of the make up is gaudy and extreme. - Cindy Crawford
