I don't keep up with Emily's career too much, so maybe my question doesn't even make sense, but it's derived from the perception I have or trends I've seen. But why doesn't emily get as much attention as some other girls do? She's ridiculously beautiful but I feel she's overshadowed by the women she's grouped in with. There's hardly any mention of Emily when talking about other girls that might have similar physical traits, or in general when talking about models. Why do you guys think this is? I thought she has had 1 or 2 (maybe more) major campaigns. Just trying to figure out why she seems so overlooked.

Well there you go. An angel for nearly 13 years :shock: :shock: I don't think anyone can be mad if she retired sometime soon. I would prefer that she did, if she actually was going to have other big projects/business ventures outside of VS. But I'm doubting it. have Lily and Adriana done an event just by themselves before? I remember Candice, Adriana, and Lily doing one. But not sure if I recall just lily and dri.

^ I think part of that has to do with how long she has been with VS. Outside of Ale, Adriana is the only one who has been there for what, over a decade now? and an angel since 2003? I think Adriana's name/face is probably the most recognizable from the current VS models.

I personally think rihanna is dressed terribly 90% of the time!!!! I would love for Adriana to wear a few outfits that someone like Jolie wears on the red carpet. She obviously has the height and body to pull it off. Plus I remember during the Academy Awards (or maybe another awards ceremony) adriana tweeted saying the style was so boring but Angelina saved the night.

Rihanna's stylist? I hope not. I don't think she needs to dress like some of these try hard models that eternally dress 22. She's a mother and it seems she likes being conservative more often than not, I agree nothing wrong with dressing a little bit more sexy but she just seems to pick the wrong outfit all the time. Remember that silver outfit after the VSFS 2010? The pucci dress at the 2011 after party wasn't amazing either. I just wish she'd wear a winning piece for once. That sparkly silver dress she wore at the 2007 after party was amazing on her (matched with her hair and make up) and it was so commanding (Even though style wise it was whatever and nothing special) but she really looked amazing what a bombshell

Adriana is so gorgeous at the after party but I want to see her wearing something spectacular for once, she has never had the best style IMO. Does she have a stylist? She either needs one or needs a new one. Her face is a work of art as always.

Even if they had babies days apart, all women have different bodies. It's no secret that Ale and some other models might have an easier time getting into shape than Adriana does. And to me that doesn't even matter, body types are different...diets are different...priorities are different. Just because one model can do it so fast doesn't mean everyone should be able to. As for 99% of 'fatass America' yeah, we might be fat. But also 99% of Americans are not supermodels. I'm not saying that Adriana was FAT, I am saying she was unfit to walk the runway as a supermodel in the clothes that they gave her. Saying this or acknowledging that maybe she didn't look the best she possibly could doesn't mean we're putting Adriana down. You guys are acting like there has been some cardinal sin committed by people who say she looked horrible. The only person Adriana should be compared with is herself, VS could have at least attempted to make her not look like a clown. Again, I definitely don't take issue with her not losing the weight fast.... I was one that said she should take her time and skip this years show, I only take issue with her walking and looking the way she did. I do however appreciate her confidence despite her appearance. She's happy about her walk/appearance....she updated her twitter saying 'I made it' and I'm happy she feels accomplished about it.
