googling brazilian girl has nothing to do with who is best known? If anything people outside of fashion are more inclined to know who gisele is just by name. Not saying they have to be into her or her career or even care about her, but gisele bundchen's name is associated with the status of a supermodel. I think it's the opposite. People who know who Adriana is without a doubt will know who Gisele is. People who know who gisele is don't all know who Adriana is. Some people that know who gisele is couldn't even name 3 high fashion brands. In the large scope of things, when considering hollywood celebrities and people on the big screen, gisele is still recognizable just by name. but i guess we've had this conversation one too many times and it is redundant, to each their own then

Finally some news! I follow Lindy Hemming on facebook (as I am a big fan of her work) She has served as a costume designer for all of Nolan's Batman films, for several Bond films, clash of the titans, and countless other films. She just updated her facebook status sorry for the red blur at the bottom, would rather not have my personal information on here. Anyway, she is a costume designer so I can't help but think it must be for either an editorial or maybe even a commercial/video type project. Obviously these 4 aren't going to come together for a movie. But you have an athlete (Rose), a model (Adri) and an actor/actress (Craig/Scar jo) what can it be for?! either way yay! I'm going to ask Lindy when I can. She has sent me samples/sketches of outfits she has made. She is BEYOND kind that woman. Edit: Sorry should have cropped it earlier

  7. I understand they might be guided by Victoria's secret in terms of what to say, but why the hell would you give a model 3 lines to repeat to no end candice's gq uk interview was so boring. But then I think about one of Adriana's interviews with GQ which was a total disaster, she came off like a total bitch and with the recanting of her statements later I know there was a disconnect with Adriana's english but that was bad. Maybe VS wants to avoid things like that then. And yes Melocoton as we know they're not brain surgeons they're models, but even as models, there's only so many times you can say the same things over and over and over again.
  8. do you guys ever feel like the VS girls repeatedly just talk about the same shit Candice- we know you grew up on a dairy farm girl, i'm so shy, i love brazil

^ completely agree with that. I think she's insecure about it herself.
  13. Lol I think it's Miranda they call a chipmunck. And you is right, Gisele gets more hate than Adriana in the mainstream but her fans here don't take to her threads to cry over it. My people at Adriana's threads though.....About the videos, I've stopped watching them. I don't want them to kill the thrill for me when I'm watching the show itself
  14. The only place where I've really seen Adriana get hate is on this forum. I have seen negative comments about her on youtube/ask men/etc, but those are things like people calling her a chipmunk, derp face, or talking about her teeth or the weird faces she makes. Personally, I don't think an opinion can be hate? Adri's thread is filled with people who think otherwise but I actually see Gisele getting more "hate" in the mainstream than Adriana does. There's a ton of people that have negative things to say about her face. But I don't see Gisele fans on here referencing that in the Gisele thread every week. Why care? On a different note, do you guys feel like there's more backstage clips of the vs show and more clips of the vs show itself this year than most? I almost feel like I've seen the entire thing...not sure why
  15. That video was awkward every time they showed the group Miranda actually seemed to make an effort, who would have thought. The group shots towards the end... wtf
  16. +1 Again there is nothing I really like about Miranda, but come on. None of the VS angels have reason to feel insecure or awkward standing next to any of the other angels. Being a model in this industry is all about making your name known. I really doubt any of them lose sleep at night worrying about what it is that escalated their fame. Oh no Adriana got two US gq covers and is such a well recognized Angel and she did it all on her own over the course of the 13 years she's been a VS model... I'm only famous because I married Orlando. No. Even though I think there's some truth in what you (Lost_Soul) said about why she is as popular as she is now, it would be an opinion and is hardly relevant to what she thinks of herself. As we all know she thinks quite highly of herself.
  17. Maybe it has to do more with the fact that Adriana fans constantly have to point out that she has haters. What model doesn't? But half of Adriana's thread is made up of people acting like it's some type of injustice that Adriana does in fact have 'haters' (people that don't see in her what her fans do). Almost as though there's some type of conspiracy against her I do think it's silly to not like a model because her fans are outrageous, but it's also ridiculous to constantly look for any opening to discuss how there are people that aren't at Adriana's feet in awe.
  18. I've noticed it too. I secretly believe Adriana showed up late to the FNO event in 2009 (I was there) to not take pics with Miranda and/or make her wait on her. And then those pictures up there of Adriana using Miranda as an arm rest are too much. I just looked at the pictures more closely and see Adri using Miranda as an arm rest. It's humorous, but if only it were intentional and bitchy (secretly I'm all for that) sadly I don't think Adriana has it in her to do anything like that with intent. Not because she's too nice, but to me Adriana always comes off as afraid. Afraid of media backlash. Afraid to hurt feelings. Afraid of criticism. Afraid of everything, (and it's pretty annoying to be honest) but I could see Miranda using someone as an arm rest in a more demeaning manner before Adriana. Hilarious nonetheless
  19. I don't like Miranda at all, but oddly enough this is one of the few times where she hasn't completely irritated me. I do agree that she sticks out, and maybe it's obvious in that she is trying to. But better trying and succeeding than being Candice no? I see she's still on the same shit as always. She seems more relaxed but there we go again with trying to poke her ass out

aw nvm, it looks alright. Adri looks beautiful, still loving miranda's dress better

just saw the dress on the previous page now, eh. I'm not loving the dress (but will wait to see better candids) so far I think she looks better in the pics with the tshirts

Adriana looks good. I actually think they all look good at this event for a change. Liking miranda, for the first time.

A pilot with a substance-abuse problem has to land a crippled airliner in this Robert Zemeckis-directed drama for Paramount Pictures. Real Steel's John Gatins provides the script. Denzel Washington heads up a cast that includes The Hurt Locker's Brian Geraghty, along with John Goodman and Don Cheadle. This movie was amazing!!! One of Denzel's FINEST performances to date. The previews lead you to believe the movie will be more about Denzel being a troubled hero. But without giving away too many spoilers, his addiction to alcohol and dependency on drugs is portrayed so phenomenally in this movie. Denzel's character is truly despicable but charismatically and dark-horse hilarious. John Goodman in yet another amazing film this year (he had a small role in Argo as well). I was really surprised by Flight. I was going in thinking I knew exactly what to expect. A good movie, with a predictable Denzel. Not at all...not at all!!!!!!
