I think when they announced all those Angels, about 2015? (I know y’all remember this) Everyone was going off about there being too many in that line up too. And I think that Oprah gif was used then too.

+1 Miss Alexina is a goofball, and is unafraid to have fun with life. Unabashedly so. And I respect that. I’m happy to see a red head freckled girl as an angel. Her announcement makes me think that VS is going for a more everyday, attainable Angels than what most people think what an Angel should be like. And with everyone (most everyone anyway) lamenting and pining away for the Angels of yesteryear.

If my mind has this correct, here’s what I remember. Please feel free to correct this! Barbara was poised to become their “It Girl” after the VSFS 2012. They were certainly grooming her for it that year! Michael Bay featured her in the Holiday commercials. There was some good things said about her during that time too. Then, Young Master Bieber performed the show and there were tons of rumors and blind gossip started popping up almost everywhere that Barbara broke Selina and Young Master Bieber up. There were twitter fights all over the place, her name kept popping up in the rags as well during the next year(?). Im not sure that was the reason she was dropped, but it happened. There was a lot of parting going on, she was sowing some wild seeds for a while afterwards. I read that she was really young when she walked the show(?). So, in my unprofessional opinion is that 1) VS wanted to wait for her to mature. And 2) She’s been on fire with the SI shoots. So, that means she’s more bankable name now. As as I stated at the beginning, if I’m in error on any of this, please correct me.

Now this is a white wall that is so much better than the others! It’s got texture and better lighting. Plus, our angel is proving that this is her time.

+1 to both of these. Yea for our girl! Glad to see it finally happening. Thanks for all the new adds and postings of the media links. As as the article that @bump posted, over 780,000 posts blew everything else out of the VS posts for the month (and year?) My biggest fear is that VS makes her go super skinny. Although Lais looks pretty much the same since she signed her angel contract. (If I’m wrong let me know) Again, this is a good thing for her! I noticed that she is getting phased out at L’Oreal, it made me wonder what was ahead for her.

Yea for Barbara! I’m happy to see her with Wings. I kind of hope that they keep Stella around and shoot she and Barbara together. I do believe that @ivancica is correct about her outfit at auditions is the same one she’s wearying in the announcement video. It seems to me that her English is better. I guess anyone would, especially in 7 years. My mind is jumbled up so I’ll end this here.
