TBH that makes a lot more sense than making a separate Ciri & the bandits show as her misadventure here is an integral part of the main story. These grocery stores (I even have issues with Whole Foods and some of the stock in Trader Joes') are for people who are so rich that they don't look at the prices at all. They just grab things and go. Also a lot of the items are just all branding/ clever packaging- the product inside is often mediocre or even sub-par.
