  1. I finished half of Storm of Swords. There is a very brief moment of sexual tension in Jaime's thoughts over Brienne that didn't make it to the show. Also the drama with Stannis and the Red Woman, and the prophecy comes across as being inspired by Shakespeare's MacBeth without plagiarism. In Macbeth, the witches are ugly, and are the 'other', while in GOT the beautiful Melissandre is Stannis' advisor. She is a sexy sorceress instead of a crooked nose witch. The rigidity and honor of Stannis is excessive, dangerous even (he is kind of like a less charming Ned Stark) and his enthrallment with Melissandre is a rather interesting juxtaposition. However it hasn't been explored enough in the show and is still mysterious in the books so far. Like Macbeth, Stannis chases a prophecy based on magic. I'm starting to understand why book reads and superfans were so disappointed with season 5-8. These characters were building up to something bigger than what we got in the show.

Poland blast caused by missile fired by Ukrainian forces at incoming Russian missile - AP | Reuters No indication Poland blast was a deliberate attack, says NATO chief | Euronews It got quickly diffused, it looks like NATO is not interested in WW3 yet 🤣 Ukraine's primary AA defense are ex-Soviet S-300 AA missile systems.

I think I've seen this brand before and have eaten some. But it was ages ago and I don't remember. how about lower cost French brand that is also good?

I forgot about Swiss chocolate. It's great. I never ate French chocolate. Some small American brands have decent chocolate but the mass market brands like Mars, Hersey etc are bad. When I was a kid my family brought me to Hersey park several times. It's very fun but the chocolate is not up to standard. In the US German cars are overpriced and are expensive to maintain.

Kirkland is Costco's brand. It combined good quality with low price. Costco is owned by Walmart corporation. I have never seen that brand either, I guess it is french. I think Belgium and German chocolate are way better than American. what kind of chocolate is common in france?

  12. I've heard of the 'underclass' in Dubai, the city of billionaires. It seems like in medieval-pre-medieval times, it was better to be a Northman/viking and pagan than a Christian serf under a King. The northmen were much more free and progressive in this sense. This is borrowed both the Witcher and Game of Thrones books, too. Also in Roman times it was better to be a rich businessman than a top tier politician. Because if you failed, you lost your head and your family was in serious trouble.
