Westworld Season 1 was amazing. Season 2 was less so. If it was directed like The Boys it could be good. There is also "the Last of Us" show, starring Lyannna Mormont and Oberlyn Martell.

Yea propaganda is part of it, but still there is the common sense aspect that it is stupid to fight a war with Russia. Recently the Poland missile problem is case in point- NATO and Russia both deny that the missiles are Russian but Ukraine wants to press the matter. They can't wait to rope NATO into WW3. Democracy in the US works better at the town and county level. The corruption level rises at the state and federal level. At the federal level it is literally just big money and the same group of corrupt people in Congress. In a way the social structure is like 'Old hollywood', a closed-knit group of a few thousand elites. In the spring of this year in there was a local grassroots protest that succeeded in stopping the building of a sanitation facility right across my house. I am pleased that democracy worked in our town. They asked me for a donation but I didn't pay, and the crowdfunded lawyers got the job done.

I also bought a Costco Tuexdo cake. This is a common item there and available all year round. It is $17. Overall I was a bit disappointed with it after reading/watching reviews by Costco shrills. I was hoping that it was as good as a cake from an italian bakery but it was significantly below those standards. But still pretty good. I would give chocolate mousse cake at my local bakery a 5 out of 5. This Costco cake is about a 3.7 out of 5 in comparison. The mildly sweet cake has a very thin layer of fudge on top- way too thin, 2 layers of good dark chocolate cake, one layer of cannoli cream, and one layer of chocolate mousse with brownie bits. I think the main issue with the cake is the inadequate flavor, I was hoping that it packed more of a punch. The dark chocolate portions are adequate but the chocolate mousse/fudge is way too little. The cannoli cream should not be a part of the cake in my view as it doesn't blend well with the rest of the cake. I would have liked the cake more if they used a lot more fudge on top, removed the cannoli cream and replaced it with more chocolate mousse.

He did Westworld, didn't he? Amazon's The Boys is quite good but Rings of Power is a stinker.

It seems like in a lot of Japanese franchises, the males look very effeminate, like gay male models. And the Japanese tend to make the cheekbones too big and the noses super narrow, like all the white people have nosejobs. Jojo's bizzare adventure is super gay, it's hilarious

The final fantasy character designs (and other Japanese franchises) tend to get my head scratching. They look like teenagers that are part of boy bands/girl groups. But at the same time they don't really look like white people in real life, like they are all a quarter asian.
