I am almost done with the audiobook for Witcher book 1 again, it is a brilliant work and first building blocks of the world of the Witcher.

These trending topics, especially if part of the 'culture wars' get youtubers paid. I have a youtube channel myself and personally see that these topics bring 10- 20 + times more followers (and also revenue) than an honest topic.

I recall that 'Clueless' made a big splash for years. Didn't see Barbie and don't know if its that memorable or can be compared to something like Star Wars, Nolan's Batman, & Lord of the Rings. Maybe closer to 'Mean girls', if its meme-able. The thing is however that the toy industry is in great decline for years. Children don't play with physical toys very much anymore. Toys R Us across the US closed. Overall hollywood is a Gen X and earlier thing. It is also in relative decline both commercially & culturally and far surpassed by the gaming industry currently and in potential growth. In general social media has severely cut into the impact of hollywood. People used to worship stars & films a lot in the 2000s and earlier.

It's a classic Japanese gaming & cartoon franchise I hope the Napoleon movie is good, Ridley Scott did Gladiator after all. But Napoleon's life was too vast to be contained in 1 movie and I don't think the trailer for the film was an appropriate way to summarize his life.

He basically takes the content from the later books (eg. book 5,6,7) and just rolls with it.

Season 4 is going to be weird then lol. I haven't been following Henry Cavil but there seems to be claims that he was either fired from Netflix or he quit himself. For me Season 2 was half-painful to watch and half-curious. I didn't like Season 1 either (I think I rated it maybe a 2.7 out of 5) but for me Season 2 was worse. (2 out of 5) As a witcher fan I don't really accept Netflix version of events but they still have value-added due to the high budget. when I have time I will watch Season 3. overall I think Anya C. is really attractive and Freya Allen is cute.

Posting content about a Trending topic has rewarded me 20 times more followers than content covering legitimate, quality subjects that I put an equal amount of work in. Pretty sad and shows why social media is the way it is and why some content creators just focus on trending topics only.
