Ooh, I love the sound of those segments, especially Birds of Paradise and Parisian Night have a lot of promise. Birds of Paradise because of the fantasy aspect and Parisian Night for sexy French lingerie and manmade beauty. I love that they have a holiday themed one in Snow Angels if they just make it special and do not copy 2006. Shipwrecked could be hot if done Blue Lagoon / mermaid style.

Well yes I would say that Kate is now skating some line here since she is a model. More power to her that she can be way more relaxed than most models who constantly tweet pictures of themselves working out and talk about how "clean" they eat. (Remember how for her British Vogue shoot the stylists etc. had gotten all sorts of undergarments for her in a panic. Another model wouldn't have been booked.) Clients know what to expect of her and if they hire her they want a curvier girl than the average model but at the same time keeping curvy and toned can be quite difficult... David Kirsch is awesome but I dunno if his 2 weeks / month cleanse (so basically no eating for half a month) to prepare for SI was healthy for her in the long run... This whole thing reminds me of Tyra a bit. As long as you can be "bigger" and command top rates it only makes you more badass but it's also easy to slip up.

Okay TheBaronOfFratton you need to tone it down. No need to single out someone and I don't think people come to this thread to see that. However bring on the VSFS snark when the time comes.

Bar looks absolutely amazing advertising eyewear and this year I would love to see her for VSFS but she needs to really check herself when she answers questions

That location sounds awesome (windex blue water)! I would love to see Lily in SI. She looks great in VS Swim pictures. Maybe Lily and Kate became friends after the SI connection.

That's right! If they want to make a respectable fashion show they need to customize every outfit and do some by hand, they can't just use stuff off the rack, and they need to make sure the wings fit. I'm sure the fit models have been used extensively but they still need to do a lot especially since some girls are gonna have more of a lingerie model bodies. And on top of all that there needs to be rehearsals etc.

I like the fittings pictures and videos too. They look a little more au naturel. Does it seem like the process of castings etc. are really close to the show? They have a million things to do before they can get the girls ready on the runway.

I would also like to see more cross-over between SI and VS. I don't like that there has to be these two camps that are separate. What happened to the time when models were such a force that they could do both like Tyra and Heidi.

One of the things I like about Doutzen is that she is not arrogant at all. She certainly could afford to more than most of the arrogant people out there because there is not much anyone could say about her due to her success in modelling. I don't think I've ever come across someone saying that she is ugly and meaning it whereas most celebrities have people saying that about them. She is humble almost to a fault! Her documentary a few years back was a little depressing. It's like you are young and beautiful, enjoy it and don't feel guilty!

I hope that Bar and Petra would pose together! I'm going to be disappointed if this anniversary shoot will be just in a studio. They could have at least taken the models to the Hamptons or something.

Because some of the women are old. Not all of them are bikini ready these days. I do hope the younger ones did shoot in swimsuits I hear ya but it's still a little lame. During the last anniversary, they had a reunion with Tyra, Cheryl etc. and some of them were in a one piece. They could always pose in the most flattering way possible (so no bending over this way or that way).

If Britney performed, I feel that she would get all the attention. How did Britney look (= does she have her abs back, are her eyes still dead), did she dance like she used to, did she lip-sync etc. I think a famous male artist would work the best because he would just be the sounding board for the girls.

I'll always have a soft spot for Miranda but she is not my number one favorite like back in the day and it partly probably has to do with the changes in her personality Maybe there really wasn't an incident between Erin and Nicki but I was referring to how Erin didn't really get the chance to have her moment at the end of the runway which is not too much to ask because these models wait for the show all year and artists like Nicki could perform on stage every weekend if they wanted.

Wow I did not see that coming Although a lot has been going on in her life so maybe this has been a year of changes... And she has changed as a person so I did wonder if that would mean they would grow apart. Erin and Nicki Minaj incident annoyed me and I didn't like how long Rihanna hanged onto Doutzen either so if the Angels bitched about that they have me on their side

I also have a long list but Josie Maran came to my mind first and more of Petra Nemcova if there is.
