@MarVS I think the term is now widely used for wives and girlfriends of various kinds of professional athletes but maybe not so much in motor sports. But if Barbara and Lewis Hamilton started a high-profile romance, I think she’d be put in that category.

I know SI has gone to Las Vegas many times before and admittedly I’m not too familiar with past Summer of Swim events but I think that they could do more than just have a partnership with some Las Vegas pool. Go to the casinos, ride a BIG roller coaster, ride the Ferris wheel, hit the different “landmarks” and fountains etc. I think that a Hollywood theme could be fun too and doable since many of the models must live in L.A. I did like the Coachella theme for this Armani Exchange campaign

Ah, okay. I thought you had ideas for what kind of different themes they could do for Summer of Swim that wouldn’t be a copy of something that was done before.

@jkk You mean this one? I just watched it and I don’t think it’s so bad. It’s maybe a bit awkward because she starts off acting deliberately goofy/bad but towards the end she gets into it and seems to be giving her real moves. Then at the end she goes deliberately over-the-top again.

How many locations do they usually go to? Samantha Hoopes said in this video around the 2:20 mark that she is going to Mexico on Thursday and to Cuba in July: I was wondering whether one of the trips is for World Swimsuit.
