  1. no actually you guys like to use that on me all the time but west coast rules

True. Even though Adriana lives on the East Coast, ya gotta still remember thats she is from Brazil. However, us West Coasters can claim Tyra Banks, Eva Pigford, and the Williams sisters as our own. Can the east coast TOP THAT?! WESTSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!! LEFT COAST!!!

  2. wow, i honestly didnt think they would ever find his body.  at least now he can have a proper funeral, and maybe some closure for petra :(

:( Well, at least now she knows. Its probably better knowing what happened to him than to have him still being unaccounted for after all this time. I really feel bad for the families who loved ones are still unaccounted for after all this time.

  3. did you see the contender.  if you didnt it is bad ass.  a must see.

No, I didn't see it. It came on at like 9:30PM, right? From 9PM to 10PM, I was watching "24", and that's my favorite show on TV.

  4. Who made this silly thread  <_<

K_dub's tha name!!! :D WESTSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!! Btw, Cain, before you talk shit about my coast and rep your coast, remember that you are in North Carolina, which was a Confederate State in the Civil War, and is still thought of as the South!!! Only states that were part of the Union should be considered "East Coast". You good 'ole boys in NC still got your Confederate flags flying, inbreeding with your relatives, and whistlin' "Dixie"!!! Not to mention your state supported persecuting my forefathers!!!

Whoa easy there tough guy, I live in Modern day NC, not Civil War Era. I also live in North Raleigh (not Johnston County, hicksville), which is considered an extension of CARY, which = Concentrated Area of Relocated Yankees. Both my parents are from the North, and before you go assuming the badness in me I let you know that I had a little Jungle Fever in high school. Im from Florida too, which makes CARY look like a weak sweet tea served with roasted chicken when it comes to concentration of Yankees. I grew up in a predominatly black neighborhood, allbeit rich african americans from the North, but African American nevertheless .

East Coast still rules tho, tell me, how did the West coast do in the NFL playoffs this year? What about Number one seeds in the NCAA? UNC, Wake Forest (NC Represent!) Kansas and Illinois? USC represents, but personally I think they had a weak schedule, you don't have to play teams like Miami, VTech, Florida State twice a year on the West Coast.

The West Coast has its moments, but it cant compare to the East in Parity and CONCENTRATION of quality.

    EAST COAST WOOT!

You wanna talk about relocation, the majority of people out here are originally from the East Coast!!! My dad was raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and he also spent some of his teenage years in NJ and NY. If the east coast is so great, why did they leave?! The New England Pats are champions, but did you know that Tom Brady, Corey Dillion, and Teddy Bruschi are from the West Coast? ;) As far as the NCAA is concerned, USC are State Champions 2 years in a row!!! No other team can boast about that, east or west, so what does that tell you?! And who knows? They might do it a 3rd straight time!!! :D Funny you didn't mention the NBA. Oh, that's right!!! The East Coast is super weak when it comes to basketball!!! The Atlanic division has one team with a winning record. The whole Eastern Conference looks weak, save for Miami and Detroit. Hope you're happy seeing your expansion Bobcats get beat down every night. The Western Conference has been dominating NBA basketball for like the last 5 years, and it seems like it will continue to do so.

The East Coast has a few things, but the West Coast has just about everything you could possibly want.

WESTSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!! The West Coast, the BEST COAST!!!

  5. I went to San Francisco State for about 3 years. It was a-ight, but too cold and foggy for me!!! I couldn't wait to get back to L.A.!!! Living in both places, I know now that SoCal is the place for me. I need the sunshine, palm trees, and beautiful women!!! But hey, to each his own.

  6. Castillo handled his business. He won by TKO over Juan Diaz in the 10th round. As a result, the Castillo-Diego Corrales fight, which would take place on May 7th, is in the works. Castillo can win that fight if he stays close to Corrales and pounds his body. Corrales needs to use his height and(probably) longer arm length to his advantage. He needs to use his jab to stop Castillo from trying to get close to him. Just keep Castillo at the edge of his punches. However, Corrales, despite of his height and loner arm length over most of the fighters he faces, he often likes to fight on the inside. That can prove to be costly to Corrales if he fights Castillo that way, who punches hard and works well to the body.

I followed Corrales for most of his career, so I'm most likely to root for him. Props to the 916, Sac-Town!!! ;)

  7. hey, dont hate on the dirty south

As long as nobody hates on the West Coast and don't diss my area, I won't be dissin anybody else's area either. But if anybody come into this thread to diss the West Coast, I'm gonna defend my coast and go into other threads like the East Coast thread and other threads and diss your area, a-ight?! Look, their are good and bad things about every area. However, members of Bellazon make threads about their area to celebrate the good things about their area. If you ain't nothin to say nice in these threads, don't post in that thread, got it?! Good!!! :D

Btw, it was a beautiful day in L.A. on Saturday. I went to Pacoima, celebrated my Grandfather's 78 B-DAY( :o :D :fun: ) and kicked it with a GRIP OF MY KINFOLK!!! It was a lovely southern California day. :) WESTSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE!!! (Y)

    MLB

I see your a mets fan... It will be interesting to see if they can all develope some chemistry... So far I can't beat them on MVP Baseball  <_<

 The mets look REAL GOOD ON PAPER!!! It's gonna probably take 'em a while to jell together, with all the new faces and all. I really hope another team would win the east, cause they are one of the teams I dispise the most!!! Only teams I hate more than the Braves are the Yankees(DAMN, I LOVED SEEING THEM CHOKE IN THE ALDS!!! :D )and the GIANTS!!! Actually, I think the Dodgers-Giants rivalry is the best in baseball. Sure the Red Sox-Yankee rivalry is great, mainly because the curse of the Babe, but the "Shot heard round the World" was also a HBO documentary. On top of that, it had the one of the most famous broadcasting calls of all time!!! :x   Not to mention, the Dodger-Giant rivalry isn't so one sided. The Dodgers have knocked the Giants out of the playoffs many times, and vice versa. Actually, it was Steve Finley's home run in the next to last game of the season last year that won last year's NL TITLE!!! :D And we gonna win the NL West again, MARK MY WORDS!!!

  9. Jose Luis Castillo will fight Juan Diaz this upcoming Saturday. I hope Castillo wins so he can face Diego Corrales next.

  10. i cant believe they stopped that fight with cotto and chop chop i think cotto was on his way to knocking him out but the fight was definately stopped prematurely

Word. That stoppage was foul. However, Corley showed in the 3rd round of that fight that Cotto does have a suspect chin, which leads me to believe that he wouldn't have a shot in hell against either Arturo "Thunder" Gatti or "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Jr. Zab would probably take Cotto out in a fight, and just imagine what Tszyu WOULD DO TO HIM!!! I tought Cotto might be the real thing, but now he looks more like hype than anything else.

i looked at it as that he got hit with a very hard clean shot that in most fights people dont get hit with and he was clearly knocked out off his feet, and he still got his composer back and in the next round was back to normal i think that says a lot about a young fighter expecially. i truthfully think that most people would have gone down after a punch like that. just because your not a power puncher doesnt mean that at the right angle you cant knock someone out with one punch. ask roy jones, glen johnson is not a power puncher by any means but at the right angle he cleaned roys clock. i was impressed with the fact that he lasted over 2 minutes after that punch and regained his legs and in the next round fought his ass off again. i personally think that says alot about a fighter. he has heart and sometimes a suspect chin will not outweigh a big heart. even though i really dont think that cotto has a bad chin by any means. judah would have danced his way to the floor if he had been hit with that punch, just ask Kostya

Roy Jones got KO'd in the 8th round I believe. Glen Johnson put together a combination to knock Roy down. Plus, Roy took a lot of punishment in that fight as well. If Corley would have threw more shots to the head instead of going to the body, we probably would have KO'd Cotto in that round. If that was Kostya, Mayweather, Gatti, or Judah, they wouldn't have gave Miguel a chance to recover. Either way, what's done is done.

According to Bob Arum, Miguel Cotto's next fight will take place on June 18th in NYC. An opponent has not been determined as of yet. Corley wants a rematch, but that is unlikely. Another possible opponent is Vivian Harris, but Bob Arum says that fight is unlikely as well. http://www.fightnews.com/avila-planas49.htm

Btw, I never seen Vivian Harris fight. Has anybody seen him fight? If you have, please describe to me what kind of fighter he is.

  11. i cant believe they stopped that fight with cotto and chop chop i think cotto was on his way to knocking him out but the fight was definately stopped prematurely

  12. I just looked at the other forum and   :o    :x  :|  :trout:    stealing pictures, topics, etc. is not cool.

WTF and BZ are quite close because they both comes from chilaX. That's why there's some topics that are the same.

True, but I think that WTF bit off Chilax a little bit too much. Every topic copies Chilax to a T, like under the model thing talking about New York cheesecake and such. <_<

    NBA

76ers got a good shot to go all the way now that Webber is on their squad. Still, Miami and Detroit are probably the front runners to rep the East in the NBA finals.

  13. Yeah, you are probably right sha. However, he might as well go for it right now. Hopkins wants fights that will interest the boxing fans and I doubt he wants to wait around for the winner of the Trinidad-Wright fight. I'm also looking forward to see Cotto fight "Chop Chop" Corley. Corley has fought both Mayweather and Judah, and went the distance both times. If Cotto wins this, he will probably get the winner of the Mayweather-Gatti fight. However, I don't think he would beat either Gatti or Mayweather. Gatti has a lot of boxing skills, and he doesn't have to brawl to beat Cotto. Nobody can outbox Mayweather, and he's hard to hit. I have no idea why Cotto picked Brussels to beat Mayweather. Must have been only because they are friends.
