  1. Glad to find a Left Coast thread... too bad I didn't see it sooner...

Props for holdin it down!  ;)

Santa Monica hur... originally from NorCal though...

    :)  Zire

WHAT UP, ZIRE!!! It's about time you got with the program ROUND HERE!!! Are you a Giants fan? Since I was born and raised in L.A., I always keep it TRUE BLUE!!! And Neo, that is a interesting way of representing Adriana. Thanks for the tip!!!

  2. Your avatar is ok, I love only Adriana Lima avatars ;)

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well, I don't represent ADRIANA LIMA!!! I rep L.A!!!And since the Dodgers and Lakers are in L.A., I rep their colors: BLUE, PURPLE, AND GOLD!!!Most of things in this world you can't claim for yourself, except your race, your family, your city, or your country. However, sports can put that all that other stuff that seperates us. Instead, it brings us TOGETHER!!! In the Olympics, I root for the U.S.A!!! I root for the colors: RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!!! Our city represents were we are from, so we root for the colors of our respected teams.

  3. Not only that, the Westside is dominant in Pro B-ball, and the L.A. Dodgers have to best record in baseball so far. And get this: We are doing it without Beltre, Brad Penny, Wilson Alvarez, or Eric Gagne!!! Imagine how good they will be once they get the last 3 guys I mentioned!!! WEST COAST BUMP!!!!

Steinbrenner whining, HERE WE GO AGAIN!!! FUCKING CRYBABY!!!In the meantime Milton Bradley and Jeff Kent are the best BACK-TO-BACK HITTING COMBO SO FAR THIS YEAR!!! And by the way, impel I thought the old school Brooklyn Dodger uniforms were cool as well. However, they also won those uniforms cause the were celebrating the first, and only, World Championship that the Dodger organization won in Brooklyn. And I might add that a lot of Latinos should give props the Jackie Robinson. All those dark-skinned Dominicans and Cubans wouldn't be able to play Major League Baseball if it wasn't for Jackie Robinson.

    THINK BLUE!!!

    MLB

I thought it was cool that the Dodgers wore the old Brooklyn uniforms on Jackie Robinson Day.

The Mets got their winning streak snapped at 6 by the Marlins on Sunday. The majority of the wins were of the "come from behind" variety, which was nice to see.  Winning teams must have the ability to come from behind late in the game. So after starting 0-5 we are now on pace with everyone else in the NL East (Nationals in first, everyone else for second). This is really going to be fun a race.

How 'bout them Yankees??? Steinbrenner had to send a missive to the media to keep fans from jumping off their ledges.

    Here it is:

"Enough is enough. I am bitterly disappointed as I'm sure all Yankee fans are by the lack of performance by our team.'' It is unbelievable to me that the highest-paid team in baseball would start the season in such a deep funk. They are not playing like true Yankees. They have the talent to win and they are not winning. I expect Joe Torre, his complete coaching staff and the team to turn this around.''

  4. thats why Kobe avg more in the plays of the the latter two championships and the lakers won the other championships a lot easier then the first one...the lakers is a brand new team...the only remaining person from last year was kobe...george just returned, butler is doing good, i think odom will be gone, vlade is back, atkins is good, they just need a center and coach....remember shaq is 33 years old...with his height and weight he has about 2 seasons left...tops...he has had two surgerys on his feet,  he is always over weight and has to carry that weight on him,  kobe has years left in the NBA and i was the only one in my family that knew they would get rid of Shaq and not Kobe....it was a smart move...no one believes me now but lakers will do good next season...dont come to me and jump on the bandwagon when that happens...just like my family did last season...i was the only one that said they would make it to the finals and i was the only one that said they would get rid of shaq...then they jumped on the bandwagon....also say i think marduk said this would happen.

smart move by the lakers by getting rid of shaq...he is getting old and his age and weight are catching up to him.

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well, the Lakers not making the playoffs might be a blessing in disguise. The Lakers might get the #1 pick in the draft, and their are a lot of good college b-ballers ready TO MAKE THE JUMP TO THE NBA!!!

  5. LA is out of the Play-Offs hahahaha ;)

But why are you choose LA? Do you live there?

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

YUP!!! Yeah, the Lakers go from the NBA FINALS last year to NOT EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR!!! IT'S WAS SHAQ'S TEAM, NOW WE KNOW!!! However, I'm all about the Dodgers know that the baseball season is here. I BLEED DODGER BLUE!!!

    MLB

As a Dodger fan, L.A. native, and a Black Man, I think it is only right to point out that on this day 58 years ago, the Dodgers organization and Jackie Robinson made history. Jackie Robinson, a L.A. native as well, became the the first Black ballplayer in MLB on this day!!! And get this: Milton Bradey, who wears No.#21(Jackie won No.#42 ;) ) and is also Black and a L.A. native, turned 27 years old TODAY!!! :o   So, for Milton Bradley, The Dodgers organization, L.A. natives, and Black men everywhere, THANK YOU, NO.42, FOR MAKING ALL OF US PROUD!!!

    MLB

The Dodgers are back to their old tricks again!!! :D Another come from behind win in AZ. Last night the hero was Jose Valentin, and the latest hero is Jeff Kent, a native son of SoCal!!! ;) Depsite our GODAWFUL PITCHING TONIGHT :x, the Dodgers were able to stick in there and do what they did 53 times last year, which was to come from behind and get the win. Hopefully, they will be able to continue this trend at least till we can get Gagne and at least Brad Penny and/or Wilson Alvarez back on the squad. Until then, GO DODGERS!!! ;)

    MLB

Dodgers 2-1 so far. :D Bullpen still a question, but the starting staff and offense seem to be ok. Imagine how good we will be when Brad Penny and Eric Gagne region the staff!!! GO BLUE!!!

  6. all the areas where ppl of different ethincity can melt thier DNA

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

True. That's why I chose Brazil. When I go to the Brazilian websites to look at models, they got models that come in ALL SHAPES, SIZES, AND COLORS!!! :woot: My personal opinion is that racially mixed women are the prettiest women in the world. All races have something special about their women. So when you see a woman who has a combination of 2 or more of those features, phew!!! Let me list some examples of racially mixed women that find beautiful: Adriana Lima(of course ;) ) Norah Jones, Catherine Bell, Halle Barry, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Karin Taylor. I'll stop right there, because this list could go on forever. I mostly used those names because it was composed of women who were models, actresses and musicians. See, they are in every area of entertainment. Plus, its seems like features mostly associated with women of color is becoming the popular norm. People are having all kind of surgeries to have thick lips. Women who are curvy are more accepted now than was the case before. Plus, it seems like brunettes are now in fashion. Many naturally blond women are dyeing their hair dark.
