  1. It's official: Bernard Hopkins will make in 21st defense of his middleweight titles against Jermain Taylor at the Staples Center in Los Angeles sometime in July.

  2. are you a subscriber?

    I just set up a free account, but I don't think it's working. :/

No, I'm not. Thing is, to get access to some of those pictures, you have to get your internet access from terra.com, and that is only available in Brazil and a few other Latin American countries. :(

  3. Did I say you?! No, I didn't!!! I said your fellow east coasters do!!! Pleeeeeeeeese get your FACTS STRAIGHT!!! Ya know, it seems like you're still mad at me for my assumption on another thread.

  4. why don’t you live your save boring life on the west side. It’s it’s so wonderful then why do you spend so much time in the east coast thread?

You diss my coast, I diss yours. It ain't like you're fellow east coasters don't go into the West Coast thread and diss my coast.

  5. According to a recent survey, San Francisco and Honolulu both ranked high as one the safest cities in the U.S.  Both cities also ranked high on the overall quality of life survey, as did Vancouver, a West Coast Canadian city.

Take that, you east coasters!!! :trout:   Score another one for the WEST COAST!!! :D

    being safe is boring

Being safe means you can party, have fun, raise your kids, and not worrying about something bad happening to your loved ones. Plus, you don't have the cops shooting at you 41 FUCKING TIMES OR SODOMIZING YOU WITH A TOILET PLUNGER!!!

  6. damn k dub, you talk a lot of shit

:D You guys bash my coast, I bash back, and the last time I came with facts!!! Surprisingly, none of you east coasters mentioned 50 Cent, an east coast rapper who as of right now, has the best selling CD in the country. Go, run with that, and see how quick I'll FLIP THAT SHIT ON YOU!!!

  7. GRRRRRRRRRRRREAT FIGHT!!! :D The 14,000 capacity crowd at the MGM Grand and the millions watching across the country got THEIR'S MONEY WORTH!!! Erik Morales stuck to his game plan, picked his spots, and beat Manny Pacquiao to the punch. You are supposed to box a brawler, and that is exactly what Morales did. Still, they got in some heated exchanges, and Pacquiao never gave up. They hurted one another numerous times during the fight. Morales won by unanimous decision, but don't let that fool you. All three judges scorecards were 115-113, seven rounds to five.

In closing, these warriors gave the fans what they wanted. Another great fight for Morales, who won the fight, fair and square, and I would LOVE TO SEE A REMATCH!!! Even though, we still have a long year ahead of us, I don't think ANY OTHER FIGHT THIS YEAR COULD SURPASS THAT FIGHT!!!

  8. I won't be able to see much of the Cinci-Kentucky and/or the WV-Wake Forest matchups. Both might interfere with the Erik Morales-Manny Pacquiao fight. Sure hope the fight is worth what I paid to see it.

  9. yea, I got them losing to Kentucky next round anyway, so no big loss. But sticking with the theme of the tourney, I think they will pull away in the second half. Unless they pull a Kansas, stupid Bucknell f'ed up my bracket and a potentional UNC vs Kansas.

Kansas got beat by Bucknell!!! Is this year of the Underdogs or sumthin?! :dontgetit:

  10. going back to that wooden descussion' date=' i really dont like to compare between those days and now, because back then not only would wooden get the best players every year, but they would all stay for four years, and now, even if you do recruit the best players, they're usually gone after just one or two years[/quote']

Thanks for underlining my point, safin. Another reason why Wooden's records will probably stand for another 30 years or so. And Cain, you should know that u can't GUARANTEE anything!!! Look at the 2 major upsets last night!!!  Bet u didn't that coming, huh?!

What point was underlined!? You've made no point and you've been blowing alotta smoke out your ass K-Dub. Your initial argument is about Wooden being the best coast, and yet your agreeing with Safin?

You tripping out now, dawg!!! I didn't change my initial argument, I was just acknowledging that Safin has a point. I acknowleded that you had a point earlier in this thread, remember?! You can diss Wooden all you want. Still to this day, when experts think of the greatest college basketball coaches, his name still comes up. Would Wooden be able to accomplish the same numbers if he coached in this day and age?! Probably not, but we will never know, right? Its like asking if who would win if Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali met in their prime. Most would say Ali, but then again, we will never know.

This discussion can go on and on, so I'll offer you a olive branch and call a truce. Frankly, I sick of talkin', and you're sick of me talkin', so let's just end it and focus on the present.
