Hey, does anybody know which team has more ties to Southern Cal, like if the players either went to college or originally came from SoCal? That is probably gonna determine who I'm going to root for.

  1. Yo!!! Richard "Winky" Wright vs. Felix "Tito" Trinidad IS ON!!! It is going to take place on May 14, in either MSG in NYC, or the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

  2. indeed that would be a good match up that would be awesome if gatti could get him into a brawl and knock his ass out.  i think he would be a better person after loosing once

Mayweather is too smart for that. Why get into a slugfest with a brawler if you can box? That's how Corey Spinks beat Mayorga. However, Gatti does have boxing skills. Then again, Mayweather was raised by boxers. His uncle and father both boxed.

  3. The death toll is now 226,000. Petra just needs to focus on her recovery and hope she will be able to continue her modeling career. Her boyfriend is nowhere to be found. He is most likely dead.

  4. i know i doubt he will lose but i will be watching and hoping.

However, if Mayweather wins, chances are that he will be fighting Gatti next. That would be an entertaining fight, don't ya think?

    NFL

Damn, that game is ATL was sad!!! Vick and Dunn were running all over the Rams!!! The Rams defense was just like :o . Mayn, opposing defenses just don't know what Michael Vick is going to do.

  5. i feel ya but they are not gonna fight.  the deal went sour when marquaz outbid himself...manny is fighting morales now

 Mayn, this is a boxing fan's dream fight!!! That's gonna be one hell of a fight!!! Both fighters are prue brawlers. However, I think Morales would be the favorite to win that fight. Morales may be a brawler just like Pacquiao, but Morales has good boxing skills. I haven't seen Manny show those type of skills, plus I bet Pacquiao haven't faced a puncher like Morales. Manny can dish 'em out, but I'm not sure how well he can take them. Honestly, I have no idea who I would root for in that fight. Despite how Morales acted after his last fight with Barrera, I still like him.

  6. well your still on guest you should log in and check the check mark that lets you stay logged in

Duley noted. But back to the matter at hand, who do you think win Pacquiao-Marquez II? I'll be rooting for Pacquiao, just because I would love to see fight either Morales or Barrera again.

manny all the way the only problem is they couldnt close a deal now its manny and morales in march. and i will still be rooting for manny i like morales until his last fight with berrera when he could not show any respect after the fight.

Yeah, I hear ya there. Morales lost a lot of my respect for him because of the way he acted after the fight he had with Barrera. Despite their animosity for one another, Barrera tried to be the better man and congradulate Morales for a good fight, but Morales threw water at him. <_< As for the Pacquiao-Marquez II, I know what each fighter needs to do in order to win.

Pacquiao will win if: He has to take the fight to Marquez, apply the preasure. Sure, Marquez came back from 3 knockdowns in the first round last time, but he shouldn't change his style of fighting regardless. If it ain't broke, why fix it? Plus, if he gets Marquez in that kind of trouble again, he needs to jump all over him. Don't allow Marquez to get in the center of the ring. Keep Marquez in a corner or back against the ropes.

Marquez will win if: He needs to do good counterpunching, and the best way to do that is he stays in the center of the ring. Since he knows the type of power Pacquiao has now, he should either keep his distance, or either get in, then get out. Marquez has the skills to beat Manny, but he needs to stick to a certain game plan and not fall into that tough guy stuff that many Mexican fighters seem to do, ya feel me?

  7. de la hoya is gonna take out tszyu.  you wait and see..

cotto is gonna be a great champ and taylor is gonna end up beating hopkins.  just wait and see.  and kermit cintron is gonna make it to the mainstream....

save these predictions in you heads.... :)

Duely noted. After all we were 3 for 5 at the end of last year, right? However, I wanna see Tszyu fight somebody right now. I don't wanna till september to see him fight Oscar. As far as anybody beating Hopkins, I'll believe it when I see it. Taylor need to stop messing around with scrubs and try to take it to Hopkins sometime this year. Also, lets not forget about Corey Spinks. He will make it into the mainstream as well. In the meantime, focus on Mayweather and Gatti's upcoming fights, as they might get on later this year. Peace out, boxing fans. :)

  8. I don't think Adriana had implants, she's just gained weight the last few years, thus her larger breasts.

Also, when women wear bras, they can make their breasts look bigger, like when women wear push up bras or bras with padding. Britney Spears tends to do that a lot. One picture her breasts will look huge, hence the breast implant rumors, than in a later picture they are considerably smaller.

  9. I'm so glad Petra's all right... she's such a nice person, and what she went through must have been hell.

I hope they find her boyfriend.  :)

an article on her here: http://www.sfgate.com/columnists/dailydish/

PETRA POSES TO AID TSUNAMI CHARITIES

Czech supermodel Petra Nemkova has agreed to pose from her Thai hospital bed as she recovers from injuries sustained from last week's Asian tsunami disaster to raise funds for other victims.

The Victoria's Secret model was dragged through a broken window and submerged under a floating sea of trash before clinging to a tree for survival for eight hours when the massive waves hit coastlines.

The stunner will pose in her hospital robes for Us Weekly after bosses there agreed to donate $200,000 to fundraising efforts for the shot.

Meanwhile, Nemkova is still looking for word on her missing boyfriend Simon Atlee, who was swept away in Thailand by the tsunami.

That's pretty cool that Petra wanted some of the money made from the photos of her recovering in a Thai hospital to go help other victims affected by the tsunami last week. She looks good, all things considered. :) However, something tells me if the find her boyfriend, it will not be good news. Thailand and other countries affected by the tsunami had to bury bodies unclaimed in mass graves to prevent the outbreak of diseases that could be caused by decomposing bodies. Plus, I just heard on the news that some bodies are so badly decomposed, most of them are unidentifiable.

  10. true hopefully 05 will be big for boxing

Key word being "hopefully". 2004 was one of the best years in boxing in a loooong time. None of the decisions in major fights were travesties, most of the PPV fights were actually worth paying for, and we saw some major upsets, and a whole new crop of up and comers stepped up to the big guys and took the crown, therefore showing us what the next generation of boxing who look like!!! ;) Now we need to see Jermain Taylor take the big plunge and see who, if any, can take out Tszyu. 2005 BABY!!!

  11. they are called miracles for a reason.  they don't happen very often.  it's nice to hold out hope, but you have to be realistic.  like me, im holding out hope i'll get laid tonight, but that doesn't mean that I will.

Besides, this guy was probably some dead-beat boyfriend, it's better that she move on to other, better people; presumably ones that will not die at the first sign of a little wave.   ;)

Mayn, I don't know if you are making a joke or not. Either way, you're SICK!!!

  12. i too thought antonio won

I watched the fight again just to make sure, and I got a draw. Round 3 was a hard round to call. Tarver may have stolen that round with his combinations in the last half of the round, but Glen Johnson seemed to control most of that round. Plus, you saw the desire that Glen Johnson had to win that fight, which was something that Antonio seemed to lack. Fuck it. <_< It just gives us boxing fans another bout to look forward to in 2005.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, BOXING FANS!!! :fun:

  13. Now, the death toll is well over 100,000. Since so many people are being buried in mass graves in order to prevent a disease outbreak, chances are is that we will never know what happened to Simon Altlee.

  14. The story about California breaking off and going into the sea is an urban legend. There is no scientific basis for it. The Pacific plate is colliding with the North American plate with the former sliding under the latter. This means mountain ranges like the Sierra, the Cascades, and the coastal mountains will be getting higher. The San Andreas fault is just a portion of this process. If everything west of this fault broke off and fell into the sea it would leave the majority of California intact but would take out the Bay Area and some of southern California. Since this is not scientifically credible, it isn't worth discussing.

California is on a plate that is moving northward. Scientists say that in 30 million years that L.A. will be a suburb of Anchorage, Alaska.
