That's very cool. I wonder if she also did the swim and bicycle portions of the race? Looks like, probably not. She seems to have worked a lot in 2006, but I haven't seen anything she's done in a long time.

That's very cool. Did you notice the photographer? Looking at these pictures, I kept asking myself what Bensimon had observed about Elle Macpherson now. How had the woman changed. How had the model changed. How had Bensimon changed, for that matter. I'm not sure the editorial actually says anything like that, or tries. I don't know. Very cool editorial, though.

Never did find a copy of that television commercial. (Possibly the commercial is on Carl's Jr's website, which I had trouble navigating. http://www.carlsjr.com/ or possibly http://www.carlsjr.com/ontv ) Two links, though: Whole blurb here: http://www.adrants.com/2004/10/model-has-s...for-hardees.phpand a screencap here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/uda...nRichardson.jpg

She's also the girl from THAT Hardee's/Carl's Jr. commercial: She rides a mechanical bull while eating a sloppy hamburger. Hardee's (or Carl's Jr., I think the same parent company) is a fast-food chain restaurant here in the USA. http://www.thesuperficial.com/2004/11/came...ardees_gir.html

Hi. She has appeared in several movies, mostly in small parts. She has a page at IMDb, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000629/ , which lists her appearances. She has a modest part in THE BLACKOUT, opposite Matthew Modine, as his girlfriend. Casting her in that part worked in the sense that it got me to rent the movie, and she was actually fine. She's not in it very much, and she doesn't do anything very important. (I think Sarah O'Hare might also be in this movie, just very briefly, but it's been a long time since I've seen it, and the movie is not so good. It isn't in her credits, but I remember thinking, "The actress has an Australian accent. And she really looks like Sarah O'Hare.")

Two links are (weirdly) broken in the original poster's message: Good model. Great fashion photograph, getting all that from her coat. (Y)

Excellent model. There is a typo in this thread's title, and it's the common accident/typo for this model, which seems to lead to much (minor) confusion: The "i" and the "r" in "Kirsty" are transposed.

Great photograph. I'd never seen that one before. Very nice. Did you see the Estee Lauder television campaign with Carolyn?

Excellent. Great photography and model. Do you know the publication? Like the image in your sig, too. Euro-spec '73?

Thanks!

Cool! Hey, how do you (or how does she) pronounce "Valeria"? Is it val-ERR-AA-uh ? vel-air-EE-uh ?

Amusing interview on YouTube: Natalia Estrada Vs Valeria Mazza. In Italian (still enjoyed it, even if I didn't understand it). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLUULF3oj7U

Not sure if this video has been posted (tried a search): Adriana Lima in THE FOLLOW, the 2001 BMW short film/long car commercial. Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Adriana. Directed by Kar Wai Wong. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285104/ The video is available on Google Video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4908864941399851335

Not sure if this short video (over on iFilm) has been posted: "Jennifer Love Hewitt Cheerleading Tryout". http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/980307 The video quality isn't too good.

Yes, I think you may be right. That image looks like it's from the same edit -- same style and the page numbers are close -- and I agree, I think that's Claudia Schiffer on 174. The comparison thing is interesting. I looked at the 172 image and thought that's not Claudia Schiffer's chin, lips, legs or knees.

Two things about that: 1. That image has been horizontally flipped! 2. I believe that's Karen Mulder!

The Internet Movie DataBase has a nice biography, with some personal quotes. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000366/bio She's terrific in a number of films, but I think my favorite of hers is BELLE DE JOUR. She was also in DANCER IN THE DARK.

Nice link. Thanks for posting that. Had not seen some of those pictures before.

Well, I think you did very well. Spoons. She says in that part that if you're in a hotel room with "nothing else" (cosmetics), then try cold spoons over your eyes. Personally, I would try cold spoons over my eyes-cream. Weights. The weights her mom gave her I also don't really understand. I run and I don't know what she's talking about: "They keep you in line when you run," is what she says. I suppose she means that the weights help keep her body aligned straight. I don't know. "self made". But she had to choose a word that inculdes "self". Like, self-indulgent or self-assured or selfish or selfless or whatever. She also said she liked the nut "almonds" as a healthy snack. Your English is excellent!
