I think it is maybe related to the fact that doing Mädchen jobs was not very prestigious and often real models (not the Munich based teenagers that they usually streetcast) didn’t wanted to be associated with the magazine with their names. As a result model names were sometimes changed. Same goes for photographers whose names were changed as well. Photographer Cees van Gelderen for example shot a lot for Journal für die Frau magazine under different aliases as he was usually rather on an Elle level and didn’t want to harm his career but wanted to take the jobs with him 😜

Hm Vanessa had long hair in 91 and cut it chinlength in 92. The face is close but I am not sure it’s her and I met Vanessa 2-3 times in the early 90s.
