I'm not sure that Ford models, which is one of the biggest modelling agencies hire models for that kind of stuff Maybe you looked stunning and interesting in your pictures so they were like "ok she's small but still we can give it a shot... let's see her for real and then we'll judge". Either they didn't like you (sounds harsh but those ppl are cruel, not my fault lol) or like sweetpea said you talked to the wrong person who didn't know that ppl in the agency were insterested in you and, judging on your size, told you that you weren't what they're looking for...

i finally voted for gisele... I like her ads more (the last vuitton ones are very good) and i think she's a bit superior on the runway

you should know that most ppl working in these agencies are snobby with everybody lool... However, if you're not tall enough and really wanna be a fashion model chances that you'll be hire in a big modelling agency are little... I mean unless you're kate moss or Laetitia Casta, if you got a more "common" look (no offence) they won't bother to take a "small" girl. I've got a friend who is into modelling but she's quite small (1m71) she's really beautiful and has an exotic look (she's from mixed origins) but her heigth is her weak point so she does some photoshoot for small brands but can't enter a modelling agency. I'm only telling you that so that you don't have a lot of illusions because you might be disappointed but there's still a chance that it might work for you anyways so don't give up and btw you should send your pics to all the agencies and not only the big famous ones. Apart from Elite, dna, viva, ford, marylin, img, etc... there are a lot a smaller local agencies which hire "small" girls more often...

just because vogue called her "a model to watch" she's gonna be the new high fashion icon lol ? apart from Isabeli Fontana, most high fashion models don't have big boobs and bubble asses so i think it's gonna be hard for her to do high fashion stuff... Plus she's following the path of Adriana: more and more victoria's secret = less and less high fashion (Gisele was the only exception so far). She's got a hot body ('cept that i'm not a fan of her abs) so i guess she's gonna keep doin swinsuits and lingerie stuff more than haute-couture but who knows... the fashion industry is full of surprises
