Shouldn't we try to assume the best of people? I'm saying that instead of automatically labelling Adriana as a liar, we should believe what she says as true until further evidence provides an alternate perspective. We don't know her enough to say if she is an honest person or a liar, but I hold fast to the belief "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" . In my opinion, at least at this point, if she says she's a virgin, she's a virgin. And Pyrrho, that's all well and good and while I agree whole-heartedly with what you say (on a personal level), I think you're either giving Adriana too much credit, or not enough. It depends on which viewpoint you take. :)

I adore Orwell, 1984 is one of the greatest books I have ever read. I love far too many books to name all of them, but here are recent ones I've read since the beginning of the year: Atlas Shrugged, The Time Traveller's Wife, A Clockwork Orange (one of the best movies, as well) Oh and out of Harry Potter, I personally liked Half-Blood Prince best
