This last week has been ridiculous: * Curbishley quits. * Keegan quits - Newcastle. * Man City become one of the richest clubs in the world and buy Robinho. Apparently they're gonna bid £135 million for Cristiano Ronaldo at Christmas. Hilarious. * Berbatov finally leaves - Good price though. Although it would have been nice if United had exercised some dignity, rather than driving Berbatov into their training centre without Tottenham's permission hidden under a blanket in the back of Alex Ferguson's Bentley.

If somebody had told me two weeks ago that we'd manage to get three of the 'Spurs four' I'd have thought they were mad. Malbranque in particular is a player that I've always rated highly and never thought we'd have a chance of attracting. It goes without saying that we still need a few more additions, but I think we can live without Kaboul for now. So instead of just being Ireland and Man Utd reserves, we're now Ireland, Man Utd and Spurs reserves I hear that Pascal Chimbonda has already annoyed Roy Keane by accidentally pinching his car parking space on his first day at training. Steed is a good player and will prove really useful for Sunderland, I think. He pleayed virtually every match for Spurs last season and is a solid little player. Chimbonda has little loyalty but is a good fullback, while Tainio will really give everything for the cause - although he's not the best technically. All in all I think that it's a good bit of business for Sunderland. By the way, Kaboul has just signed for Portsmouth for £6 million.

They don't even have to be a great team per se . It could be a good team, an average team or even a below average team that draws their courage from a 5'0 player with a lot of courage or something . I might actually choose a bad team with potential. That way, when they become awesome, I can say I was there all along . Follow the premiership for a few months and pick a team that you think are involved in enjoyable matches. A team around the UEFA Cup qualifying positions would probably be a good choice. I really don't mean to shamelessly plug Spurs - honest. :| It's really rather refreshing that you chose not to just hop straight on to the "Big 4" bandwagon.

An earthquake that destroyed Sunderland would probably be a good thing. If we're using the "logic" of Kaboul's agent here, I doubt this summer's desperately dull transfer market could survive the sudden spike in activity caused by the earthquake. After seemingly changing his mind about a switch to Sunderland, Kaboul has now decided not to join the Black Cats after Harry Redknapp took him to a casino until 4 in the morning. :| Harry.

Spurs Response to Keane and Berbatov Speculation Go Levy! But Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov suck. I mean, it's been clear to all that Berbatov has wanted to leave for a while but Robbie Keane?!! He has professed his love for Tottenham so many times and recently signed a new contract, and now wants to leave. <_< So hollow. Also, hope that Benitez and Ferguson get punished by the FA - what hypocrites!! <_<
